I'm going on July 2nd. I really want to see MCS, The Plain White T's, The Academy Is..., and Hellogoodbye. I'm just upset there's going to be hardcore/post hardcore/screamo bands. They kinda scare me.

haha it'll be easy to avoid them. I'm not a huge fan of them either, but I don't mind them as much now after hearing one of them cover Bon Jovi (<3 <3) last summer at Warped.

have you seen MCS? They're great live, and I really like those other bands too.

Mute Math. I'm not a fan but they're not really the kind of music I generally listen to.

I'm not positive I'm going cause there aren't any bands playing that I'm really in love with and the main ones I do like (MCS, Cartel, The Pink Spiders) I've already seen. I would like to see Joan Jett, Nofx, and Hellogoodbye. I guess it'll depend on my finacial situation in July, namely whether or not I have a job.

what? how can you not like Mute Math?! They're from your hometown New Orleans!!! Born and raised! I fully support them because of their extremely hardworking grassroots efforts and their history. They have struggled and struggled to get their music out there, go read their blogs and give them a chance. I know they probably seem like another band that your little brother or sister listens to but they have a background worth checking out. And besides, where else can you see a 30 yr. old lead singer/piano player/fan of DJ Shadow, Four Tet play the keytar? They've toured with numerous bands that you probably know like the Walkmen and Switchfoot... okay just an incentive to go...
