I wanted to be sure that I respond to each of you that I haven't responed to yet because it was so so sweet of you all to show you cared. I had a great time tonight. I mentioned you all to my friends (so now they probably think I'm nuts for having cyberfriends). I got 2 gutter balls but on the 3rd try I got a strike! Of course after that, it all went down hill. I was gutterball galore. It was one of those late night bowling things where they turn down the lights and play good rock music from 10:30 pm to 1 am. I didn't get home till quite late. The music made it fun, like going out to a dance but with bowling.

Thanks! I'm glad I can go to concerts by myself, without a chaperone! My first SOLO concert was MxPx in Omaha, at age 19!!! And my dad made me take his cell phone, which was this huge old brick of a Motorola. Technology in 1997, y'all! But there are so many more things I can do now that I'm "older." But I still feel young inside, and that does count for something.

If you stink at bowling, get the bumpers out... that way you NEVER have a gutterball. I usually get one or two strikes, and about 4 or 6 gutterballs, whenever I play. Seriously, I'm glad to get more than 30 pins down each game. I'm awful, but I still like to bowl.

The only thing I don't like about bowling is when you have a large team and you have to wait and wait for your turn to play. By the time it's my turn I'm too lazy to play well. Then my turn is already over and I have to wait all over again. You are young! (Plus you're only a few years apart from the Kulash, so you can feel good about that ) Are you having fun back here in AZ? Why only 32 hours?

Bowling is so much fun when you play late at night, in the dark ,with glow-in-the dark balls and lots of rock music. Definitely try a light night bowling thing sometime. I highly recommend it.
