um well i saw the "treadmill tech" people, which was so cool, on the stage during the commercial break before they performed setting up the treadmills and stuff and putting them into place and i saw ok go get up from their seats like 2 commercial breaks before they went on. it was soooooooo cool!!!! they were amazing!!!!
I have an AVI converter. It's called Xilisoft iPod Video Converter, and I got it for free of the internet. I really enjoy it, it works quite well.
I got excited for a second--thanks for the tip--but the free version of this, like two other programs I've tried, leaves a watermark saying "Unregistered Version" in the middle of what you convert, through the whole video.
I'm talking to someone at work who may have something that will do it.
If that doesn't pan out, I may bite the bullet and pay the $30 the real version of one of these programs costs. It'd be cool to have and compared to a lot of software, that's not bad. But I'm mulling over how often I'll really watch videos on my iPod and whether it'd be worth it.
Opinions? Is there anyone who happens to feel definitely interested in buying such a program--and then willing to share the wealth of converted files on megaupload w/everyone?

Mine's never said that. EVER. I don't know what the deal is.
Ack, I got too excited too soon. I forgot about this--I can't even get the files into iTunes. When I try with "Add File to Library" or whatever it is, the files don't even show up, and when I try with "Import," I get a message saying it's the wrong file type. The only videos I can get into iTunes are ones that are already .m4p or .mov files.
Am I doing something wrong? Is there another way?
Sorry this has turned into a technical support thread, everybody.

but there must be some things to complicate it
nothing in life is ever that easy
I asked ((name)), and she said that since they're set to 2 mph and they used the same brand of treadmills, it wasn't hard to set them up.

Perhaps they are toughening up as more and more people get new (video) iPods ...
I just got an iPod two weeks ago and have the new iTunes and it doesn't.
Am I missing something?
I've been so disorganized lately I haven't synced it in days and days. I'll have to try it tomorrow--I gotta hit the hay now.
Yay
