Question regarding OK go supporting Motion City Soundtrack

Hey, i'm a loser and have never been to a proper concert (unless you count that one terrible time in a shitty club), and seeing as i'm sort of hoping to see OK go in London on the 28th Sept, i was wondering, how much of the supporting act do you generally get to see? cause although MCS sound okay, it's OK go who i'm really interested in seeing...how much MCS will there probably be and how much OK go music will there be?

    They'll play a whole set, afew track from both albums and then do the dance. Maybe 45 mins - an hour.

    haha and can you imagine their poor roadies loading and unloading 8 treadmills at every show? They'd all quit.

    I don't think I'd quit either... I wouldn't mind loading/unloading treadmills. as long as I had someone to help me.

    anyways, I'd like to see Ok GO with MCS, as I like both, but whatever. I'm not anywhere near england, so I won't.
    oh well.

    I wish they'd come back to Texas with OK Go, but I think I'm gonna see them again with AAR in November.

    I wonder if MTV gave them those treadmills with OK GO on it for free...hmm, well I can't imagine what else they would do with those treadmills. Haha, oh man I totally want to go to their concert in London with MCS. Did they sell out yet? I'm really hesitant on buying the tickets yet because the exchange rate is still baffling and scary to me.

    they havnt sold out yet, but the Glasgow show has


    so i imagen the otheres will be doing aswell soonish

    I've seen OK Go open for MCS before, and compared to OK Go, MCS doesn't stand a chance. They just don't enough energy.

    How could you say MCS don't have enough energy? Jesse is crazy. I've only seen them once, but it was a good show.

    Ha, they don't even have roadies, do they? lol
    Damian said during a Q101 interview this Feb. that the band was probably mad at him because he was getting out of loading equipment (doing the interview).
    I hope their newfound success will earn them a roadie. biggrin.gif

    i'm not going to lie as soon as mcs came on stage i went to the bar. i was getting squished during every set. but they did sound good when i was at the bar and later when i was talking to tim.

    Yup, I did the same thing. The MCS fans were really rude. They were crowd surfing and what not and one of them got thrown on the stage and hit Damian's mic, which ran into his mouth. He could have gotten really hurt. Stupid 13 year olds.

    there was crowd surfing but no one threw anything. they were pretty civil. but the girl standing next to me in line was bugging the hell out of me. she was a cheerleader and all she kept on doing was cheers and handstands and stuff. i felt like telling her to do a handstand or cartwheel in the street.
