there was crowd surfing but no one threw anything. they were pretty civil. but the girl standing next to me in line was bugging the hell out of me. she was a cheerleader and all she kept on doing was cheers and handstands and stuff. i felt like telling her to do a handstand or cartwheel in the street.

Are you serious? I totally would have slapped her.

yah it was really annoying. i wondered if she even got into the show, since she didn't have a ticket. i know they only had like 20 tickets left. but i think she did get in.
  • **rolls eyes**

I hope there aren't stupid people at the OK Go headlining shows. I will have a bitchfest if there are.

hahaha ditto! i'll just probably roll my eyes at them, cause they are not worth talking to. now if they say they are the biggest fan ever and they only think oh no is their first album then i'll a bf. lol bf white chick is such a funny movie.
  • Dude, if anyone in the entire world ever says they're a bigger OK Go fan than them, I'd be like, "Oh yeah, well have you ever been to a Snarks show? Yeah, didn't think so. I HAVE, and Damian's entire family knows my name."

Then I'd slap them, watch them cry, and then chase them to the parking lot where they would leave.

It's kind of a dream I've had, making someone cry.

    =D =D =D

that would be amazing to see.
  • Hmm, I'm getting support. Maybe at the next concert I go to I should purposely get an arguement so I can video it and then have you fine people watch it.

    This is very tempting....

or you could just go to every Ok Go show this fall and stage an argument so that we could all see it happen live..

but the youtube would probably work better, haha.

either that or quiz them on how big of an ok go fan and then make them look bad on tape and then post it on the internet.
  • oooo... that sounsd like fun, too!
  • That's a good idea. I think it should become a boardie campaign. Everytime you go to a show, find a fan that thinks they know OK Go, then quiz them.

We could make a YouTube group for it!
  • haha. that would be fun.

we shouldn't make them cry or scare them away, though. keep it really low-key and relaxed, and nice.

we don't want to get the reputation that Ok Go hsa shitty fans. and we DO want them to gain mroe attention, and scaring away possible fans won't do the trick.

that beign said, I'm all for it!
  • Plan: Instead of trying to make them cry like I said, we should do something like Jay Leno's Man On The Street, where we support them, tell them how well they're doing, but then make a segment afterward where the person isn't present and just laugh about it.

    Fun times...

Jaywalking with Ok Go fans? sounds fun!

we wouldn't be able to put it up on youtube, though... that would be meaner in some ways. it'd just be a private thing to share w/, say, megaupload.

I think I'm too nice for this...
  • I'll be an OK Go Roadie!!!! After unloading our band trailer for 4 straight years I've gotten rather good at it. When they come back to the US and I finish Highschool I will dedicate my life to them. AHAHAHAAA I'm so silly. Though one of my dreams is to after I graduate if, Christ willing, Ok go is still around i want to follow them on tour. Just like drive to each new city, not like stalkerish, but to spend weeks and weeks seeing ok go once a week would make my life. Anyone wanna join? We're gonna need money for gas and tickets, as well as a tent and portable shower...hmmm....ahahah I wanna do it!
  • ^^ I did that around the UK last October. Twas good times.
  • LUCKY!!!!! I wanna do it so bad! I'll either follow OK Go, or one of my other favorite bands, The Aquabats, I've seen 4-5 Aquabats shows but i've seen 0 OK Go shows so I think I'll follow them, specially since as of late i've been much more into them, only time will tell, i'm gonna try and get my friend to come a long she is kinda hesitant about stuff like that but she shall give in!!!!

Well, if we made it a private group on YouTube, that would be ok, right?
