i go by angie, but my real name is angeline *gags* which is... sort of an old lady name. and everyone pronounces the line (same sound as the word) as leeen, so correcting people gets old as well.
I give my name a 10 because no one else has it. Well, I have met another Kalinda, but I chased her out of the city. There's only room for one Kalinda in San Francisco.
But if you had asked me about 7 years ago, I would have given it a 5 or something.
Mari... I give it a 5. I kinda like it but sometimes I hate it because my friends and my professors don't know how to pronounce it right (they're stupid I know ). Everyone else have beautiful names. So I give you 9 1/2.
Carin; I give it a 9. I haven't met many Karens (or any spelling of it), and I've never met another Carin. I think it's a really pretty spelling, and I used to hate it, but now I love it. Yeah. Definitely a 9. (I would've gone with a 10, but who wants to be conceited? Come on now! lol).
I like the name darbie. I've never heard it before i came onto these boards. its very cute.
"The name Melissa pronounced as Ma-liss-ah is one of the most popular names for girls; it is of Greek origin and means honey or a bee. The legend behind the name is Melissa a princess of Crete in ancient times, who was changed in to a bee; it also means a nymph in Latin. "
In my lifetime i've probably known/known of more than 30 Melissas... its very common. But I like it, I wouldn't have it any other way. Also my middle name makes up for it being so common. 10/10 fo sho.
