  • OH MY GOSH!! I want that! But I can't wait until the fall. That's so far away.
  • Wow! Wonder if it'll be "Wave of Mutilation."

    Dude.
  • OMG. Since I'll be buying this anyway, I call dibs on the honour of YouSendIt-ing the song for everyone.
  • Awesome. biggrin.gif I won't be able to buy it (spent all my money on a trip to San Diego to see OK Go biggrin.gif:D), so it'll be really nice to get to hear it.
  • Haha, well, it doesn't come out until this fall, so hopefully you can put together fifteen bucks by then.
  • Hopefully, but I never do make any money until the end of the year. It'd help if I could get a job, but I'm not going to be able to until after it's out.

Maybe I can babysit or something. tongue.gif
  • I must be really excited for this because I had a Kinks song stuck in my head for days, but now it's replaced by a Pixies song.
  • YES YES YES! I can't wait for this!

Wow, that's further away than I thought it would be. I was hoping for Septemberish... oh well. Can't wait - it'll be awesomeeee.
  • I found this interesting bit on their MySpace blog:

As I've mentioned before, They Might Be Giants are one of my favorites, and having them on this project was a no-brainer. The hardest thing about getting them on board was just getting some contact info. After some time of searching, I was able to get their manager's contact information, and I emailed him.

A few hours later, he emails me back to say TMBG are very interested, but would I also consider OK Go for this project, as they are the biggest Pixies fans he knows?

'Gigantic' was originally reserved for someone else, but new album and touring commitments prevented them from being involved in this. When that happened, OK Go jumped, and I KNOW they will do a great version of that song.
  • They did a great cover of Gigantic! I really like the direction they went with it.
