QLD don't have an HSC do they? One of my teachers was telling us all how much better your system is, it made me sad and jealous.
Yeah, we don't have HSC. The course is only three terms? What is that, like one and a half semesters? How confusing is that?! Sorry, its just that here, we pretty much go by the calendar year and we didn't have crazy stressful HSC's to deal with. But I'm sure you and Vinnie both will do fine!

and then he stayed the night, which was good, because we had an aftershock this morning at 8.30

idk how, but by some miracle i managed to get an interpol poster at aahs [sp?] good times. omg, it was for my birthday last year...thats scary...time sure does fly.

oh, and we started off with 150, but ppl left and stuff. and yes, i know EVERYBODY!! its crazy. most are friends, i mean, after 3 years its kind of hard not to be.
So my dinner party with my Real!Friends went really well. We listened to Interpol the whole time, trying to convince our other friend of the genius that is Paul Banks. Alas, she was not swayed. Then after, ah, a few drinks, our conversation deteriorated into pretty much this -

I then asked my friend that if "Paul gave you "the eye" (you know what I mean!!) during a show and then one of the roadies offered you a backstage pass afterwards, would you accept it?" (knowing what was going to, uh, happen) And my friend was like 'HELL YES!!!' Hahaha.
Oooh, Vinnie, I wanna see your Alex costume!! So you're in grade 12? When does the American school year finish? Or have you just started? And what about you JB? Is the NSW schooling system super different from the QLD one, because how can you start a new grade in the middle of the year?! Wow, am I confused!!

oh, and my school year:
starts in september and ends in june.
the year is divided into two semesters [sept. - jan.] & [feb. - june]. most classes are 2 semesters long and some aren't.

Yeah, Year 11 is the only one that goes for a semester and a half (3 terms), the rest are two full semesters, thus I start year 12 this year. Thank you, why do they always say queenslanders are the bogans? clearly NSW are the ones with no idea about practical schooling strategies.
