haha. I was just thinking this, it's also my friend Sarah's birthday. I'm kind of overwhelmed by all the birthdays.
Then I realized that I missed Joe Hawley's birthday, it was two days ago, and now I feel bad. He's in the band Tally Hall, btw. one of my other favoritest bands ever.

Ambie- Carlos, Paul, and Daniel all went to NYU, it's where they all met each other. Daniel did an interdisciplinary degree in Music, French, Literature, and Film (crazy, huh? <3). Paul majored in English, and Carlos majored in Philosophy. (I had to look those majors up, I only remember Daniel's because it's Daniel and because it's insane.) I don't know about Sam, unfortunately.
JB Hi Fi are the best! Last year my local store played Oh No in its entirety. I had to be dragged from the store when AMW started... yes i tried to dance
No I don't hate you!! Yeah, it sorta has the same rep - very pretty, bubbly girls that all the guys I used to know would ogle over, working there. But now one of my best friends works there and whenever I go visit her she's got this hilarious "please kill me" face while being surrounded by said happy, bubbly people. A job's a job right?
Eeee, they played Oh No? That is way cool! Ohmygod, how awesome would it be if we just randomly went in there and started dancing, like full on choreographed dance.

I haven't taken him to the beach yet!! And yeah, that's all there is in San Diego, other than a really good zoo or Sea World. I'll take him once I get my car down here... which is hopefully SOON!!

I've heard Precipitate and i think it's ok... there are parts i like but generally it's not a favourite. I'm not a huge fan of Paul's vocals on that one either.
Five I have not heard... is it a good one?

I don't even know how I fell in love with Interpol. I've had their music for quite awhile, but never got into it.
I think I listened to "Narc" a few months ago and was enamored with it, and after that my Interpol love escalated, and this thread was definitely a catalyst in that process. Oh, and the anticipation and release of OLTA helped as well.
I think I like Paul + Glasses too. He has a good facial structure for glasses.
I know! This thread made me obsessed with Interpol, if it weren't for this thread, I'd be quite happy enjoying Interpol's music like a normal fangirl. But then I wouldn't have gotten the chance to converse with you brilliant boardies!
Oh that reminds me, I recently read a review of OLTA in my local paper and it was just so aaargh. It made me so angry. Needless to say, the reviewer just did not get Interpol and gave the album 4/10. Ridiculous! I'll scan and post it as soon as I have access to a scanner again.
