OK Go Rocks The Human Race

Well, the part of it that lives in Los Angeles, anyway. The boys will play a few songs at a kick-off event for the Nike+ Human Race this Wednesday, July 23, outside the Montalbán Theatre in Hollywood at Vine and Selma.

The event starts at 8pm, though the boys will probably not go on exactly then. Rumors that everyone in attendance will be asked to run in place during the show are unconfirmed, as is the much whispered about post-event burning of delicious glazed donuts. That the boys will be there and bringing the rock, however, is absolutely certain, so come on out.

  • yeah, I wish I was visiting my family in California now instead of earlier this summer. Then I'd be able to go. dry.gif
  • I should go! Im only like,....3 hours away!!
Last time I saw the was in LA so its nice we dont have to drive too far.
I was looking on the nike site and so does anybody know if you actually race to see the show and is it free?(the show)
  • hmm, it didnt say anything about a price and it's outside the theater place so I would assume that you wouldn't have to pay, but I could be wrong. And I could be wrong about this too but I don't think you have to race to see the show
  • I wish nike had some more info about it!
The last concert I went to was like this, (really hard to get info on) dry.gif
but my friend and I will probably go check it out anyway to see if we can get in anyway possible.

I hate their site. It took me ten minutes just to find that. If Megabus hadn't died, I would totally be there. I need to start finding other ways to get down to LA.

    I have a feeling that's what they're doing.

If I get a chance to talk to them tonight I'll ask if they've started working on the new album. Although I highly doubt I'll get to....but, fingers crossed.

Thanks for the info....I knew the event was going to happen since I work at the Pantages Theatre (which is a block away from the Montalban) I just didn't know that OK Go would be playing for the event...I'm excited. Thanks again!
