Ooh, have fun tonight!!! *fingers crossed for you*
PS Magical things always happen on the 23rd.
I think I entered at the tail end of hensocks meeting with Dan...so sorry if I interrupted. Dan was in a hurry, so I didn't want to keep him long, luckily I managed to get a quick response as to what the band's plans are as to recording. He said that they have been working on songs and they will be heading out to Buffalo in October to work with Dave Fridmann. I know he's worked with The Flaming Lips, MGMT and many many others, but I'm most familiar with his work on Phantom Planet's self-titled album. I love that album......so I'm really excited about this news!

And I'm so happy that you were able to meet Dan. Isn't he the nicest guy on the planet?

Dude. Mike totally lied to me or maybe he just didn't want me stalking them while they were recording or maybe they just changed their minds about who they wanted to record with. Probably the last one.
I didn't like Phantom Planet's self-titled as much as I like The Guest, but it was still good.

He was so cool and sweet... We were standing around after the show hoping that he would come back out on the stage again, and he did, things such as, "We love you dan! and 'You're so awsome!" was announced loudly by us when we saw him. He smiled and waved back. Then he seemed like he wasn't coming out again, we were thinking of leaving, and then suddenly he was right in front of us talking to some friends of his. Soon as he was done talking he came walking by us, noticed us, and said, "Hey you guys! How was the show?" In person he really has a beaming quality about him. I mean his eyes sparkle! Anyway, then we talked a bit and got a picture with him. It was awesome! My friend and I afterward were walking with huge smiles on our faces in to stores (we were trying to find a bathroom) thinking how surreal it was to meet Dan espescially because both of us weren't expecting to even go to this concert being so late notice and knowing that it was going to not be a full show. But meeting Dan made the whole thing very worth it. Here's some pictures of the event: http://www.flickr.com/photos/13288510@N03/...57606287684261/

oh no it was fine! My friend and I meant to ask that but we couldn't think of what we wanted to say when he was right there. We were just like, "uh...HI!!" So I'm really glad you got to ask him that! More news is good news, right?
Aww, that sounds awesome. Dan really is a super great guy. He was the first one that me and my sister got to meet. We actually met him before the show when we spotted him over by the bus. And then we waited outside the auditorium before the show and he came out a couple times (we were Super early, so there was no one else there yet) and we were just waiting and when he came out he smiled at us. And then right before the show when Dan came on the stage to check his drums me and my sis yelled, "Wooo, Dan!!" And he looked up and laughed as he waved to us. Then after the show when we went by the bus he saw us again and asked us how we liked the show. He was just really awesome.

Ahh, well said! I've never met a person who's eyes sparkle. I think I have trouble speaking to Dan most because I get lost in those lovelies. I love the pic of you and your friend! So nice. Ooo, and nice wrist band. Did you make that yourself? If so how do you do it? I'm thinking of making a wrist band for Ringo.

"I've never met a person who's eyes sparkle." Me neither, I just loved his eyes!
And Yes thank you! I made the wristband. It was actually pretty easy, you get some tube socks(i got mine at a 99c store) draw on your design on the tube part of the sock, cut it out and just make sure to leave room on the top and bottom of the design so you can fold the edges back inside. Thats my quick way of making a wristband anyway. Ringo? thats awesome!
