    I just washed all the tempera out of my hair from a paint fight. It looked like we had been stabbed due to the redness of said paint. It was amazing.

    I think I'm going to start writing postcards. I feel snailmail needs to be appreciated and postcards can just hold so much.

    I love getting snailmail!!!! I like sending it too. If it's something good.

    that's a good idea. Sometimes I get the urge to write, but I don't know what to write. I have a journal, and I usually write in that when I want to write. But I never keep up with that, so I feel I shouldn't do that since I won't keep up with it.

    writing letters sounds good to me though, or postcards even.

    I'm glad to see someone else understands! It's so happy to get mail with your name handwritten on the front. It's something you can tear open and curl up with. It's a completely lost art.

    I don't know why postcards especially seem so awesome to me. Maybe it's because so much can be hidden in it. I could draw in the corners, write sonnets, use stickers, write anagrams, &c. and it would still look so endearing.

    I totally agree. Even if it's a postcard from somewhere, and you didn't expect it at all.

    One of my friends went to Kentucky last year, and sent me a post card with a horse on it. I still have it. biggrin.gif

    when my friend went to alaska several years ago, he asked if i wanted him to send me anything from there, i said a penguin, he sent me a post card with puffins on it, only he scratched out the word puffin and wrote penguin, hahaha... snail mail is the best... especially when it's from crazy ok go boardies that write kill hannah in the return address slot and DARBIE IS A MONKEY really huge on the other side of the envelope, hahaha...

    AHHHHHH! I love that man so much. Really. He is both comically brilliant and yet somber when he wants. The King Tut sketch still cracks me up as does Dentist! from the movie version of Little Shop.

    Oh my goodness am I happy. 2 minute countdown.
