oh, i'll have to remember to try that next time... thankfully the smell went away on it's own, took it long enough though...

Actually, that isn't a French thing. That's something I learned from my mom.

For some reason, stainless steal gets rid of the scent of garlic. Seeing as most people have knives in stainless steel, it's more practical to say "wash your hands with a knife" than "wash your hands with a block of stainless steel."

I'd rather wash my hands with a block of stainless steel. washing your hands with a knife sounds too masochistic. washing your hands with a butter knife is just really funny.

anywho, seing as band and school are no longer taking over my life.... what'd I miss in the past two and a half weeks or so?

You guys have no idea what I've got through in these past 4 days. I've eaten some mixed and discusting stuff that I have no idea what they are made of (and then it was poured in my hair and it took me 2 hours to take it off), I've rolled in the shit, I've run around the campus yelling "I LAUGHED I'VE FUCKED MYSELF" (it sounds better in portuguese "ri-me fodi-me"), I've crawled in the grass and in the dirty floor, I've been yelling in the rain that biomedical engeneering is better than mechanical enegeneering (the competition between the different people in different graduations), I've been swinming in a foutain.

Now I can wear the official clothes of a portuguese student
