I'm with pandy. You should go. Christmas is a great time to get sentimental. You could always offer to pay for part of the trip

A summery of events within my superhappyfun weekend:
Friday: Staying home from school and working on my art installation; new PostSecret book coming in the mail; Sarah Harmer concert; alcohol.
Saturday: Going to see Running With Scissors; Death Cab for Cutie + Ted Leo/Rx concert; dressing up & heading off to the Rocky Horror theatre showing, dancing with strangers as always; inventing a drinking game for "Nancy Grace" on CNN.
Today: Well, actually not much. P.S. Ted Leo's merch guy and I are getting married.
Ooo, awesome weekend! Bah, I wish I wasn't stuck doing statisitcs hw and having to read about everyone else's cool weekend. BTW, what sort of engagment ring are you getting?

That's what I was thinking too but 1)I have no job right now due to school. I'm getting a job next semester (hopefully. I don't like relying on other people completely for money and I would like to take as much of the strain off my parents as possible in terms of schoolwork), but for now, I have no income. and 2)he's as stubborn as I am. I don't think he'd accept money simply because he says it's a gift.
The more I think about it, the more excited I am (for the play and I would get to see him and my family).

Well, it was a pretty casual proposal. Maybe a tattooed one, like Tommy & Pam!

I spend all day working on a piece of shit statistics final for an on-line course, only to have the @#$% website go down as I'm submitting the assginemnt....
I was watching the chum chart today. Ok Go is 23 on the Countdown. They didn't show thier vid. But I screamed when I saw thier name. They better get on the top 10 soon. maybe they'll show the vid next week!
