I went to the movies with my mom, and she didn't like the movie...she analyzed its social implications and I tried to tell her it was a simple little thing, but she really analyzed it to death- and everything she said was so valid I couldn't argue. And yet, it was just a little movie... And I realized that, Good God, I am exactly like my mother. My mother and her 4 girls- God help.
One last thing on tasting words before I drop it... The one thing that has bothered me for the longest time is those Juicy Fruit gums that are named by colour... Their flavours are way off. They're not even close. OMFG. I hate juicy fruit. Blue doesn't taste like synthetic blueberries, it tastes like blue. There's a difference, you fools! Get it right!
It took way too long for me to type that one sentence on the iPhone, but it was pretty amazing when my three cousins started watching the HIGA video on the iPhone.
The new Mucinex commercial upsets me. It's got this gross phlegm ball saying "Who's House", and his phlegm ball friends saying "Mucus's house!". That's gross. A) it's Run's House, biznatches, and If it isn't Run's House, it's OK Go's House. Stop messing with my happy phrase, gross commercial.
Good grief! I can't stand school anymore! Maybe it's just Sunday doing it to me or maybe it's a thankless 5 day long hour work week, but I need to get away from that place!
Emma Bunton (aka Baby Spice) went to my work the other day. It was hilarious, everyone got star struck before she'd even arrived. But I had to leave before she came... typical!

Which Job, Alice? Did you end up caring for Kitten Spice or something?
UH YES. I had a venus fly trap for a while (it's now at my family's house) and I really want another. They are fantastic and not too difficult to care for; they just need some attention every once in a while.
I pretty much adore Ellen Greene P.S. I watch Pushing Daisies just for her (when she sang Birdhouse in Your Soul I practically had a heart attack from sheer joy)

OH MY G-D YOU'RE RIGHT!!!!!! I've been trying to figure out who on Earth she is and why I recognize her. I *love* Pushing Daisies. But I love Kristen Chenoweth too. Have you ever heard the "You're A Good Man Charlie Brown" recording with her on it?
Oh man, Pushing Daisies is my new favorite obsession.
Also, I don't like Halloween. Or November. Or all of fall and winter, actually. It's all brown and muddy and cold and depressing. And there's still a good seven months until school is out. And the cheeriness of Christmas is shattered by the terror of finals.
Hm, I think I should have posted this in the complaining thread.
Across The Universe was good. Very good. I've completely rediscovered The Beatles.
I wish I had time to get everything done. As awesome as this past week has been, I need a day to clean up my life. I'm being selfish, forgetful, irresponsible, unclean, and unorganized. And I've been procrastinating again, which is not good.
I feel like going shopping for vegetables. At ten thirty. I want something fresh and crunchy and colorful.
Saturday night my friend and I went to a "club" (that sounds so weird... ) and it was the very first time the actually played what I wished for and it was the very first time that I heard the maccabees being played...OMG, and I thought only three people or so knew about them, but then, hearing them... wow... (and, when the song started my eyes really started to burn and even though it had nothing to do with the music, but with all the smoke I cryed... and I was laughing ... and dancing weird... all at the same time... yeah;))

Wait, what? The Maccabees? Is that a band? Are they Jewish? You need to fill me in and explain this to me.

I guess its only funny when you're stressed out and panicking and really need a laugh.

I bought a pin/button/badge-thing like this (except it doesn't actually say 'I'm a fermata') and it's ADORABLE!!
I'm such a nerd
I also got ones that say 'Got band?' and 'Got Flute?'
I'm happy today
