I want to see your shoes! You know, the ones you were shopping for in Nordstrom's before you heard "Do What You Want" (or was it "A Million Ways"?). Even if you didn't buy your shoes from Nordstrom's. They'll still have that memory forever.
^^very cute pics! Glad to see you had a good time!
my expedition into the snow:
I had to dive into it... really:
Snow and I don't always get along... but when we do, I come in soaking wet and giddy like a little kid on pixy stix.
I didn't even realise that it snowed until I woke up at 10:30 and heard a plow go by. We got a bunch of snow here in Mass., but not an incredible amount- but I've heard that NYC got around a foot and a half, maybe two feet.

Haha.. those pictures are awesome. Playing in the snow can be so much fun! I haven't been able to do that this year though. Our first snowfall was right in the middle of exams so I didn't get to enjoy it, and now it's all crappy melted snow. P.S. I really like your coat. Where did you get it?
Believe it or not, Burlington Coat Factory. I was amid all the black jackets and there was this one aqua one (as seen above) and I fell completely and totally in love with it (it makes me feel unique when I wave it in the Abercrombie-ridden mass of my school).
I hope you got some more snow just so you can play in it! It's fun to act 5 sometimes.

Cor, my feet hurt so bad afterwards. You can't really tell from the pic but the heel is so high I was basically on my tiptoes all night.
Agreed. I wore these gorgeous heels to my junior prom. Now, I completely admit, I have abnormally large feet. They're rediculous and very yeti-like, so taller heels make my feet look a bit smaller. However, as you can imagine, they hurt, a lot. So, during the prom, I took them off and went barefoot. This resulted in a 15 minute arguemnt with a security gaurd about how impudent i was for not wearing shoes.
Still, I'm glad to hear you survived a night in heels! I honestly don't think men completely understand the absolute horror heels can be.

Oh well, fashion is pain.
Oh, those are lovely, though. I like the T-strap design, I've wanted a pair of heels like that for ages.
My prom shoes were only about two inches high, and they were black and "flip-flop" style (you know, like, thong-style?), so they weren't strapped onto my feet. And instead of being strappy on top, there was a bunch of crystally jewels. They were really pretty and matched my dress perfectly. I wish I had a pic.

??? I think that every dance I've gone to, I've taken off my shoes. Everyone does it- we just threw our shoes in the corner or under our table. It seems odd that someone would bother you over it.

Well, he was rather ornery and delighted in picking fights with random kids about godknowswhat. He just assumed that me taking off my shoes--though everyone else was shoeless as well--was my personal vendetta against him. I personally think he was rather crazy, so I convinced him I was going back to get my shoes and just avoided him the rest of the night.

What an odd person.
Y'all have inspired me to post my prom pic (this is from a year and a half ago):
I went with my best guy friend, Jeremy. We decided to go pink and black, so our outfits match and he has pink hair on top.
I don't quite like the crazy frantic smile I've got going on and I'm wearing far too much blush, but there you go.

I didn't have school today! I slept in until 12:45
we got about 14 inches, I think. NYC hit the jackpot, but the greater boston area got the most in massachusetts

CT got a lot, too.
We got probably about six inches, maybe a litle more. Like, I can still see grass sticking up out of the snow in a few places on campus. Not that it would have mattered, Smith doesn't cancel classes for anything short of nuclear fallout...

We also had a huge-ass group.

Of course, I'll be sick of it by tomorrow, but I'll enjoy it for the moment.

Wowsers... I had like the same shoes for my prom!

Is that Jessica McKlintock you're wearing?
Yes! I love her stuff. And it was the first dress that I tried on. And it's a size 6. 'Cause I could get away with a size 6 a year and a half ago.
