  • More photos from me . . . I went outside for like 5 minutes, maybe not even that. And I had to go back in because it was SO COLD. I think it's the coldest day of the year for us. 9 degrees . . . ewww.

    my backyard is all shiney . . . biggrin.gif

ok, that was one photo . . . I'm a bit crazy today so don't mind me. Do you see the fence in that photo? I have ideas for that fence. Maybe later, if I have an urge to become an icicle. Expect to see more photos of that fence, or something stemming from that. smile.gif
  • holy crap...9 degrees? and I thought the 45 it is here was cold.

    Your backyard is awesome.
  • it's supposed to get down to 7 degrees tonight. brrrr . . .

yea.. i took those the other night of this band called the afters. they are kind of blurry because it takes my camera a couple of seconds to actually take a picture... but i liked the lighting and stuff. I have another cool pic I took in photography the other day... so maybe i'll post it while I'm at school next week.
  • It was -3 today.
  • it's 15 degrees here today, but it feels like 1 degree because of all the wind Michigan is getting. It doesn't help too much when you live a few miles from the lake either. sad.gif

But I guess all the states are feeling this . . . like Texas has temperatures ranging in the 30's.

    sucks, doesn't it?
  • Well the high here today is 47, but it's somehow supposed to get to 61 tomorrow. I don't understand the weather. And thank god I'm in the south cause I hate cold weather.

  • Good taste with Richard Avedon. His pictures are brilliant.
  • I agree. I was looking at some of his other photography after that and even though they're all simple poses of people, they're still beautiful.

    William Wegman.
  • I usually get pissed with DeviantART and it's plethora of anime and "zomgz, I can, leik, draw" and similar (note: there are MANY good artists; one just needs to search for them). However, I do enjoy rifling through the stuff. I stumbled upon Jean Francois and I'm in love.

    Here's his site: http://jeanfrancois.deviantart.com/
  • I agree. A lot of people on DA aren't good. I was just talking about him with someone today.
My favorite on deviant art is nuozek.

I had a conversation with him about Smashing Pumpkins once...
  • Wow those are awesome.

I'm trying to get into a photography class for the summer--I will be so excited if I manage to get into it.

I did a project on the Chicago Seven for school. I love this picture just because of Abbie Hoffman. Plus he's a good photographer person. so everyone wins!
  • the one he did of Marilyn Monroe is amazing. You normally never saw her in a photo like that, all depressed and blank looking. But that's how she really felt.

It's amazing what a photo can bring out in a person.

  • I almost posted that one, the flipping off one.
  • not only is he flipping off the camera, but he has some interesting writing on his forehead.

    ...hippies make me laugh.
