  • the timer starts off at 72 mins for both teams i belive, the timer goes down like when you play some types of chess, run out of time? your screwd

the aim is to get it closest to the middle of the bullseye, thus the more stones you get in there the better
  • I like Ted Ligety, the guy who won the men's combined downhill. He's really funny and a really, really good skiier (obviously).
  • uhhh i just wanted to say that i am addicted to the olympics

and that joey cheek is GORGEOUS AND A HALF
  • I like how he's the bad boy of figure skating:

"Oh my god ya'lls! I'm here! I'm Weir!"

I found some quotes. I present to you, Johnny-isms

    Johnny on Fur:
You know, animals wear fur coats, so I don't see any reason why I can't. It's discrimination, I think.

    Jonny on Fashion:
As far as women's clothing, I really like Heatherette. I think they're crazy with everything they do with the rhinestones and the paint, and I think it's very cool. But as far as stuff I wear, I just like things that are different and things that are well made. And it doesn't necessarily have to be a Roberto Cavalli jacket or, um, like a Balenciaga bag. Which I bought yesterday.

    Johnny on his coat:

So I don't think PETA will ever realize that fur is fabulous. But for now I think it is.

Johnny on the song he'd like playing when he wins Gold at Torino:

    "Beautiful" by Christina Aguilera.
  • laugh.gif BWAHAHAHA! Hilarious. Did he actually say these things?!!!
He's definitely one giddly gleeful skater.

"Do you think my teeth are Crest White perfect? I definitely think they are though I want diamond settings... What?! you only have gold?! omg! gold was so last year. Oh, it just won't do, it's just not sparkly enough."
  • WEVE WON A F**KING MEDEL BABY!!!

    silver in the skelliton

    WOOOOOOO
  • hahahah, I LOVE JOHNNY WEIR! him and stephane lambiel from switzerland are like... the greatest things ever. haha. i'm really rooting for them to win. but i know that won't happen, because plushenko is so far ahead, and he's good. but still... haha
  • wow! Johnny Weir has his own website! yay!
    http://www.figureskatersonline.com/johnnyweir/

    More quotes direct from Johnny:
"I call my glove 'Camille,' " he said at the national championships. "Two Ls."

"I don't feel the need to express my sexual being because it's not part of my sport and it's private," Weir writes. "I can sleep with whomever I choose and it doesn't affect what I'm doing on the ice, so speculation is speculation.

"I like nice things, and beautiful things, so if that is the only way people are determining that I swing one way or the other, then to me, that's sad. You can't judge a book by its cover, ever. I am who I am, and I don't need to justify anything to anyone."
  • HE LOST!

Damn it, he's in sixth and there are other skaters left.

what's up with the "some call me tinkerbelle?!!"
His fans are kinda creepy esp. Dayne. Major stalkage possibility.
  • Check out his video interview. I just love the music in the background and the cheesy graphics... Also, Johnny has a major penchant for fur.

    hahahahaha, amazing.

    Johnny Weir is amazing. hahahaha.
  • I've had no interest in the Olympics until I saw Alexandre Bilodeau (sp?), an eighteen year old Canadian freestyle skier, on tv. His skiing was mindblowing. He ended up in the eleventh place tho. And, this is important for me, he's young and kinda cute wink.gif. Snowboard Cross and Speedskate Pursuit was amazing too.

Ugrrr, Team Japan has got no medal. Pandy, you should cheer them more. Or, they cannot win owing to your support? tongue.gif
  • And, I've never known about Johnny Weir but he looks like a hilarious guy.

They have one in figure skating now!

And my Apolo totally won the Gold. It was the best race I've ever seen before - I was literally jumping up and down on the lazyboy with my bunny-butts comforter around me.

    And he's damn hot.
  • i was jumping up and down for apollo too! haha, and then i called my parents and was all like "he wonnnnnnn!!!" haha...

i'm so addicted to the olympics it's not even funny.

Yes thanks, Ms. Shizuka Arakawa got a gold medal. I'm not a fan of figure skating but her skating was absolutely elegant and graceful. I was so impressed.

And I became aware of excitement of watching ice hockey for the first time.
