84. Trish Sie. Granted, she's not in the band. However, she makes OK Go cooler. Why?
1. She's Damian's sister. Duh. 2. She choreographed "A Million Ways." 3. She was featured on a Pocast interview, in which she revealed her Les Miz obsession. (And I don't know about you, but I definitely went through a Les Miz obsession phase in 8th grade, so that's awesome.) 4. She liked to eat frosting when she was little, also mentioned on a Podcast. (Frosting = love.) 5. She starts almost riots when her little brother is arrested. 6. She friends OK Go fan girls and then leaves awesome comments on their MySpaces, like the following:

Goggles, my dear woggles! Indeed, last weekend, I was party to a truly top-secret, most hazardous, illustriously intrepid experiment conducted by the fearless team of the mobile Snark Lab, on-site at the Orlando House of Blues scientific research facility. Our results are as follows: By introducing a generous quantity of serious-minded hyperactive totalitarianism to a single, yet potent, source of smug, swaggering rock luminosity, we were able to observe that without a doubt, the result is a highly combustible, unstable, long-range radio-active by-product. The fallout is far-reaching and noxious. Long-term effects yet to be determined. No doubt, future scientists will for years be studying what is already being referred to in sciencey circles as, "The Contemptuous Kulash Constabulary Causatum."

Hello, maniac. We will be crushed and broken-hearted and our Ph levels will suffer irreversible damage if you do not attend a Snarky show beFOUR we pile into the Snarky Train and fly into the sunset. A turbulent area of isometrically hysterectorocally barometrically charged low-pressure is moving into town when the Snarky storm blows off the radar. Prepare well. Stock up on canned goods, AA batteries, organo-pheromonic mass spectrometers, and bandanas that have flames on them. And, most importantly, bust your butt in and experience the electroconvulsive therapy that IS a live Snarky show STAT. I recommend Saturday, May 6. Corndog will be there.

Trish Sie makes me want to be a former professional ballroom dancer turned children's science show performer/creator who choregraphs way awesome dances for her little brother's way awesome band when I grow up. But this means that my little brother needs to have a band first. Hmmm.

Haha, yay. I love how it's like, actually challenging to read some of the things they write. Some of the words they use almost make my head explode..
Yeah. It took me a few times to read her "The Contemptuous Kulash Constabulary Causatum" post before I got it all down. Also, please note that the comment she left on the OK Go comment board was rather like the JC party last night. (i.e. She sounded like a fangirl! Maybe that was her goal, though.)

I'm confused by all this. Trish is leaving posts on your myspace pages is that what this all means? I'm sorry I'm so dumb, but I'm just curious and confuzzled.
Her son, Walter, is seriously going to grow up to be probably the coolest guy on the planet. How could he not.
When his mother is Trish Sie and his uncle is Damian Kulash, I don't see how he couldn't be.

Well, I'm saying that I consider Trish Sie to be the coolest person ALIVE, period, and OK Go's association/relation to her just makes them even better. Part of her coolness is that she's totally cool with us OK Go fangirls, and she leaves really funny comments for people. Because she's so cool.

I bet the soft serve/fort/campfire songs part is totally talking about what she and Damian used to do at their Grandpa's lake house.
Yeah, now that I reread that, all of that has to be references to stuff that she and Damian have done. He probably knows EXACTLY what she's talking about. Haha.
Okay that's it jedi_grrlie, you and hellolover86 have totally convinced me to get my own myspace page! I'm gonna set one up this weekend.
P.S. "Return" just came on on my cd player. Oh no, I'll cry now
I'm tearing up just thinking about it. That song breaks my heart everytime I hear it.
(You also have to remember that I have my own personal, very emotional connection to that song that formed far before I even knew what it was written about. It's definitely one of those songs that makes me cry compulsively.)
Yeah, I only tear up. But since you truly have that emotional connection, the song must really make you bawl. Isn't it funny the way a song can play with our emotions like that?
The sisterly MySpace loving is so adorable that I'm going to share with you guys something Corndog said that made me "AWWWWWW" for at least five minutes.
"Here's the simple breakdown of OK Go, in my humble, corny opinion: First of all, the New Andy has an awfully, AWFULLY cute butt... and Tim can pull off Victorian holier-than-thou like nobody's business... and Dan is simply man's man who happens to be MADE to wear silk ties and pocket kerchiefs... and Damian... well Damian...? What can possibly be said? I watch him and dear ole' Dr.4, and I gotta hand it to him, there's not a better brother in the land. Those two love each other an awful awful lot. A sweet guy, that Damian."

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.

The basic story behind why I still feel such a connection to that song in particular and OK Go in general is on my post at this thread. It's a general story, and I could go much more in-depth about it, but there's the gist of it.
Basically, it was listening to it at a time when I was recovering from a loss, even though it was a loss that was VERY different from what Damian (and Tim) went through. Regardless, the song still speaks to a loss, and you can relate to that if you understand it, no matter what your own particular loss is/was.
You should make that cutest brother-sister duo the next number in the count.
Aww, wow. You went thru a different kind of loss, but very sad just the same. I can't believe you were ever that depressed, you seem so happy and wise now. Yes, what you're saying makes complete sense. The power of just one song or one album to do so much to a person's soul, gives me goosebumps.

85. Damian and Trish are therefore the cutest brother-sister duo in the world.
Yeah, that break-up had a whole slew of repercussions, both good and bad, from being depressed and having a borderline eating disorder for a loooooong time, to making a lot of really good friends and finding my favourite band. It was really one of those moments that helped define who I am now. It's amazing how the actions of two people can have such an impact on your life.
And I don't know what I would have done at that period in time without the music I was listening to.

81. Two words: ASS SHOTS.
