guh. I'm like, beside myself with impressedness. I know I don't sound really enthusiastic, but it's just...wow. amazing. O__O mayo, you are amazing, honestly.
so, I was feeling sort of draggy after a two-night sleepover at a friend's while my parents were out of town. but, I listened to some Billy Shears (haha) and I felt eager to work on at least one Teeny picture, so I did.
I feel kind of bad, because it isn't really much, but hopefully you'll smile at the memory of the time Dinky Damian crashed. haha. I'm not entirely happy with his face, but I drew it ages ago, so I didn't feel like messing with it. just a quick coloring job. his hair came out more disheveled then I'd intended, but it's all right. please accept this, as I promise better Teeny pictures coming to you eventually soon! lol. as a reminder, the colors are wonked as usual.
oh, forgot to mention...for those that are curious, I traced my own hand. it's really tiny (the picture posted here is actually a bit bigger than my own hand, because of how it scanned) so I was actually worried it be too small to fit Damian...but it did.
Aww that's so cute! Now I really want a Dinky Damian.
thanks. there were 666 posts on this topic so I thought I'd go ahead and post...I'm not terribly superstitious but it looked out of place. anyhow, thank you. and I've wanted Teenys ever since I started reading the Teeny stories, you know? If only...

lol, reminds me of Ratboy. Ratboy thinks he's the devil or some sort of vampire.
*Squee* sleeping drooly Dinky Dami is so cute! The hand is so realistic. And his tie is dangling too. Gah, such attention to detail.

haha, my exact thoughts when I saw that... I WANT I WANT I WANT! Apple, I have tiny hands too, even though I prefer to think of everybody elses hands as huge... hehe
with a mountain of homework beside me threatening to topple over, I began on the next Teeny picture.
EDIT: ImageShack doesn't seem to want to be hosting the picture? so I used a different host. sorry about that.
I really really really like it. I drew it a while ago...I drew all of these pictures a while ago. I still have a couple I need to finish. anyway, I did my first Teeny comic!! hopefully not the last!! this is the first time I've ever seriously drawn a comic, so it was a learning and very fun experience.
I worked very hard on it. I hope it shows! my favorite is the third panel. it's based on the time Damain tried to catch a roach to make a broach, altered slightly to fit in comic form. Here's what the bubbles say, because I know my handwriting's hard to read; I wrote neatly in the first panel but then cramps and laziness set in, unfortunately:
Andy: ...We'll continue to bring you coverage of this insect-centered event as it unfo-- Damian: Andy... Andy: Ah! I think I'm getting an update now! Damian: Would you SHUT UP!! I can't make a sticky tape-lined cage with you jabbering all the time!! Andy: Err...sorry, Damian. (sigh)
thank you, thank you! hee, yes, it was fun drawing defeated Andy. haha.
and the roach was added on a whim...I saw that huge blank space after the fourth panel and wrote "the end" and then did a little curly thing, and then I debated on what to draw...I considered drawing Damain being upset at not actually showing up, but then I remembered Tim and Dan didn't show up at all so I decided against it, hahh. anyways, thank you.
Wow, I've just caught up with all the amazing creativeness on this thread and am so so so impressed.
Mayo, those shirts are incredible! Do you just draw them freehand onto the shirt material? And those bags? Ohmygoodness! I would seriously pay good money for one of those!
Applelye, your drawings are so cute and fit the adorableness of the Teeny stories so perfectly! I think the colours look great and you convey so much with your drawings!

I tend to do them freehand, well, it always depends. I draw, then scan the thing in to change size and clean it a bit, then use a wonderful iron on pen to draw onto the shirt and then just kinda follow the lines with the shirt paint I got.... Right now I'm doing the Damian shirt, to make the set complete and I don't have the pen here (I'm at my moms place and forgot half of my stuff...), so I'll just do it freehand on shirt, works well, I did it with the Dan shirt as well. So hope it turns out good It's quite simple tbh, and I'd love to make shirts for everbody, but I don't have the time and the money
Apple- that comic is great great great!!!! I love the way you draw Andy, he looks so cute!!!!
I got like 10 mins before I leave for the Jens concert and my camera usb cable is missing, so this is the Damian shirt in a very crappy quality (made with my mobile) BUT in colour!
it says DSF - yes on the back right under the neck
Wow, I absolutely adore that shirt! I love the colors, what do you use? I'm sure it's not, but it almost looks like watercolor.
Edit: I started a Damian sketch, figured I would share. It's just starting out so it's really not good at all. I don't have a scanner, so my camera makes it look worse too, but you get the gist of it.

I personally like the fourth panel- Andy looking all defeated and disappointed =
