    After V-Fest this weekend I had this burgeoning crush on Britt Daniel (of Spoon) but now I'm all "Britt WHO?".

    Last year, April '06, I saw Franz Ferdinand for the second time. I was all into Franz in 2005, super majorly, and was seriously into Alex Kapranos. OK Go stormed in and took over end of '05/early '06. Well, after that Franz show, I got all Franzified again, trying to catch up on Franz stuff from the intervening months and getting all in Alex and Nick mode. That lasted one week. I happened to see a new pic of Damian on MySpace or something and I was instantly back in OK Go/Damian mode. Like, alarmingly quickly. To the point where I sort of felt guilty! Almost a year of "Franz are so great! They are my new favorite band. They're so good, and they're so funny! And Alex ..." Ha laugh.gif Foreseeing this "favorite band" thing to be a longterm commitment. LOL I dumped 'em at the altar.

    Sorrrrry, Franz! I still love you dearly, but you have not the power over me that these four do ... And who'da thunk my favorite band would ever be American?! Ha!

    Oh, and the first time I saw the "Million Ways" vid, in Oct. '05, I knew Franz had been trounced in the "These guys are so funny" department. biggrin.gif

    But seriously? I just went on my lunch hour and had some iPod Walking time, during which I listened to Spoon, OK Go, *and* Fountains of Wayne. ::sigh:: Ahh well, Damian, Britt, and Chris, there's enough of me to go around. Even after my husband gets his share. rolleyes.gif

    I don't know, something about that bottom (haha) one bothers me ... It almost seems too ... widespread. :S
