oh and those who love docter who, there is a spin of series called tourchwood(bonus points for who can tell me what that is a anagram off) staring captin jack
It's an anagram of "Dr. Who." And wasn't it supposed to start this month or something? Let me know how it goes.
UK/British Shows that I like: Coupling Father Ted Monty Python Dr. Who(old and new series) Absolutely Fabulous (although I could never make sense of it) The Office Whose Line is it Anyway? (The American version sucks big time) The Young Ones Benny Hill! (I love that one song they always play, haha) What Not to Wear(only cause I get can a glimpse of modern day living over there, since I kinda want to live there - I mean, there's no adverts on the BBCs! Reason alone! c'maan!) Some of those redecorating shows they have on BBC America sometimes. I don't know the names, but they're fun to watch. Not that I get BBC America, but I will glue myself to my friend's couches sometimes since they do have it, haha.
There's probably more that I've forgotten also. I'll list them when they come to me.
Radio Shows from back in the day: Dr. Who The Phantom
Um i don't watch too much british television but from i've watched and loved: Ed vs. Spencer Extras QI BB7 and Popworld when Simon and Maquiel(sp?) were on. I think the new hosts are alright, Alex is very good looking but he's not even close to being as fantastic as Simon.
The it crowd finished on wednesday, which makes me sad 'cause it's so awesome.
The Mighty Boosh is officially the best british show ever, closely followed by Red Dwarf, Ab Fab, French and Saunders, The Office, Extras (The second series of extras should be shown here soon)
Oh and I'm going to Little Britain Live at the end of the year
But yeah, whoever hasn't seen the mighty boosh hasn't lived yet

i bring bad news for david tennent fans he is leaving docter who
Wait.... what? He can't leave Doctor Who. He is the best doctor that show ever had. And the cutest!
Spaced is the best British TV show ever. It is the funniest thing I have seen. I also love QI (I got the book for Christmas, it's excellent), Red Dwarf and Monty Python. I was actually raised on Monty Python (and Rocky Horror Picture Show), so I pretty much love it! But I can't stand The Office or Father Ted though. Or Little Britain *shudders*
Ok, this may be me being a Doctor Who nerd, but I thougt that time lords can only regenerate 12 times. So the one after David Tennant will be the penultimate doctor. So they'll have to end it soon. *feels lame*
Well, they were bad in the last episode of the series as well, with the evil lady who was in Eastenders. Cos they were trying to capture the Doctor and stuff But, in Torchwood TV show they're good, cos they go around fighting alien bad guys and protecting things etc
Ahh, Emmett has just remembered another show which should take everybody's breath away, well, due to the content of this show, it would be more likely that it takes your breath away by punching you in the gut.
The show that I am talking about, being the best show ever conceived by man, is none other than Shameless.
Shit, if you haven't seen Shameless, you haven't lived.
Also, Secret Policemens Ball had the mighty boosh on it, which made it awesome.
It also had Russell Brand, who is almost as cool as Noel Fielding and Julian Barrat.
this isn't british tv, but i like the band The Horrors and they'er British. They're also really fucking cool looking. Actually most ofmy favorite bands are British, but I just wanted to specifically mention The Horrors as I'm like in love with their guitarist.

I watched that! It was awesome. My mate is getting me the DVD for my birthday. Love him! The guy that did the Natalie Imbruglia song was amazing! And the Cluedo piss take with Jessica Stevenson asking if he was gonna do anymore Argos adverts. And the guy with the candle stick... "stand back, he's got a candle stick!" *is rambling*
Did you watch 'The Big Fat Quiz of 2006' on C4? It had Russell Brand & Noel Fielding on the same team. They were too cute!

Yay! Someone else watched it! Yay! There were a couple of really crap acts on there, such as: Chevy Chase, most of the musical acts, but the rest was awesome!
I'm so envious of you getting the dvd! I don't even think they'll release it here in Australia.

I don't know what C4 is, so no, damn, it sounds like it would've been great!

HHAHAHA YAY FOR DR WHO NERDS!
Yeah, Time Lords can only regen 12 times. I kind of worried what they're gonna do if they continue the series after him, since I'm sure that'll piss off all the oldie fans. Maybe they can do a spinoff of Romanadvoratrelundar(or did they already do that in the 70s? Wait, that may have been of K9, actually) Continue the Time Lord story or something.
So I know the UK people have seen the Christmas special "The Runaway Bride," but did anyone else not in UK see it, or am I the only super nerd to have gone and DLed it already? Because that was a fantastic episode and I want to talk about it but not accidentally spoil it for anyone.
And yay, Doctor Who nerds! Personally, I love the show but I think they should stop it after then 12th doctor, or it would just be silly! And they've already got 2 spin-off shows (Torchwood and whats-her-face adventures, Sarah Jane or something like that (being shown tomorrow in the UK)) And I saw the Christmas one, but I am in the UK after all! But my mate in Wales is downloadign the show and is gonna send a copy to me on DVD. <3
I should correct myself, since I just said some completely inaccurate information(I just woke up, my brain isn't working yet). I even called my dad to check with another Who fan, haha.
Tennant is actually the 10th doctor(Hartnell, Troughton, Pertwee, Baker, Davison, Baker, McCoy, McGann, Eccleston, Tennant). Therefore there's room for three more doctors, since regenning 12 times would therefore produce 13 doctors. Though, in a few of the books and earlier episodes with Tom Baker, the doctor lost and gained some times to regen(so it's kind of a tricky situation since I don't remember exactly how many he lost/gained from back then).
And I still need to see Torchwood! Sarah Jane's back in the show? I thought they just brought her back for that one episode..wait! Does that mean K9's back again too? AHH! Now I'm excited. haha.
