ok well this isn't a picture, but i didn't know where else to put it, and it is "stuff"
today i was in the apple store, and they have all these signs and displays for the iPhone and one of the signs was a picture from Here It Goes Again on the screen of the iphone. And i was like, awesome. And then they have some on display so you can use it and test it out and stuff, so i was looking at it and then i went to the youtube thing on it and HIGA was one of the videos on the main screen! And I watched it and the quality was really good. It was awesome! So i got to HIGA on the iphone, which was too cool!
7stars, I love your video- and interview-finding skills. Thank you! I'm especially grateful for the 15-minute audio interview with Damian in Ithaca, NY, from April 24.
Oh, ih7S, what a score you've found! Have you watched video blog #17 yet re: the raining out at Jones Beach? (little cameo by Dan near the beginning)
No, Damian didn't look too happy in that one - I think jumping off that stack is a pretty dangerous stunt and between the distraction and the slipperiness, it probably wasn't much fun for him - as well as interfering with his performance (& we all know he cares a great deal about putting on a good show).
Tee hee, the video blogs are cute if the Fray's your thing. I think Ok Go should start up some little video blogs like that when they do their next tour!
aaaw, poor Dami Yeah, that was pretty dangerous since he was up pretty high, and he was focused on the song. I feel bad, cuz Damian is so good natured that you know if a joke was good, he'd be laughing along, but here he just stiffened and went on with the song- so you know he didn't like it.
Ooooeeerrr, Damian angry! I'm impressed at his ability not hit them or something. I'd have got mad...
Yeah, exactly. You put it perfectly, Alice. Ugh, poor Dami This makes me um, strongly dislike the fray even more. There's such a difference b/t this and when Damian and Tim were going on about how sweet Snow Patrol was- how they brought them tea when sick, and wine to celebrate the first tour date, etc. sigh- I can't wait til OK Go headlines.
Yeah! I guess I'm biased because practical jokes really aren't my thing, but they're obviously not Damian's either, while TLC from the headlining act is... so The Fray should cater for the Kulash's needs, a mon avis.

Yea, I'm not a fan of practical jokes myself. Watching that, I found myself comparing it with how when OK Go was touring with They Might Be Giants, the games between the bands were in an entirely different spirit -- like the treasure hunts where OK Go would leave hidden things in truck stops for They Might Be Giants to find. With practical jokes, the jokesters tend to think it is really funny but the targets, not so much.
Watching Damian get sprayed made me a little incensed - I mean, he's performing. All that behind scenes stuff, maybe that's okay but NOT when someone is performing. That's evil. It reminds me of the time a friend of mine was in a play and, as part of his role, he had to drink a glass of water. Someone thought it would be funny to put vodka in its place. My friend was a trooper and drank it, but he was pretty damn sick afterwards & he still had to finish the play.

Omg, you make such a good point!!!! There's a huge diff b/t behind the scenes antics and doing things during a performance.
I know we are supposed to say how cruel a prank that was or how adorable Dan looks, but all I can think about is how my ears hurt from listening to The Fray just now. They are AWFUL.

who is that dancing to the shakira song at the end?
As for Shakira, that would be our very own Dan the Man.

Yeah, Sally, you're right! That's kinda like when your parents aren't angry at you - they're disappointed. I hate that. Awww poor Dami!
