This isn't necessarily a great article, it's not even really an article, but they're calling record #3 Help Is on the Way.
I'm pretty sure that's outdated information. There was an article or two that said that was the tentative title back before the tour, but since the tour that "Blue light" title is the one I've seen floating around.

Yeah, bands like to change album titles all the time. I wouldn't be surprised if TO:C had either read that older article circa February and got the title from that, or had earlier received some sort of press release that had HIOTW listed as the title. Regardless, I think the EW article is probably more accurate since it's more recent, but, I mean, it could easily change between now and August. Or September. Or next January. Or whenever.
I'm reading this whole list because it's 4 in the morning and I don't want to finish my calculus homework, but I keep wanting to punch this guy in the face. I think I'ma stop reading it now.
"It's a super big, secret surprise. I can tell you that it's awesome, and you'll probably want to watch it over and over again." Haven't heard of that yet...2 days to go!
"I'd learn the basic counterpoint and total harmony. I don't read music very well. I can hack my way through it like a second-grade Spanish student would. I write a lot of music, but I don't ever write it using notation."

Yep, that's pretty much how I read music.
Thanks for this article !! I'm relieved to hear that Damian isn't that good in reading music either. That motivates me that maybe I will finally try to learn to play guitar next time ^^
Spin has dubbed the next album one of the 23 most important of the next year. That's pretty big. Even if they do miss the freaking point about how good the music is.
Alright, so apparently that was not the only mention Spin has given OK Go recently. If you pick up the latest issue with Caleb Followill (the singer of Kings of Leon) on the cover and look at page 72 you will see a truly great review. The album got 7 out of 10, which is certainly nothing to scoff at, and even if the guy who wrote it used maybe a few too many big words - I stumbled over several of them while reading it aloud, and I speak for a living - it was a very complimentary piece. Adam and I did a happy dance in the grocery store upon reading it.

I love how Damian calls performing on stage as "practice." That's the spirit!
I think he just helped me with my writer's block. =D

Haha, I noticed that too.
