(lol, it's about the 4th of July concert, videos, music, art...)
I quite enjoyed it. He mentions a website that he actually recommended me to hear, which really is awesome at the end of the interview, he talks about his fav song from OTBCOTS - which is not the same anymore now... talks about 4th of July, and fireworks, and video business and
he just has the same view as I have on that and I just liked this interview a lot, okay.
"Nordwind... suggesting that he too can showcase his ostentatious side and have “an adventure”. This triggered a movie playing on-stage via a projector, which showed Nordwind in a number of slapstick ‘adventure’ scenarios, before the eccentric bassist returned to the stage donning an emperor-like OTT yellow costume, greeted by wild cheers."
There's a Tim-adventure film? Like Buster Keaton? Can I have this? Can I see it? How??? NOW!
I think it's an awesome review. And I think some of us will totally agree with this observation:
The next thing that should be noted however, and this is the only negative that I can really level at the release, is that the debut album is represented by a lone song
Right? Still don't know why Don't Ask Me isn't on the album, at least.
And this is where a single tear just dropped:
Nitpickers can finger some less than seamless song seques but anyone who looks for the positives in rock music will find themselves, after the 58 minutes of '180/365', lauding a band made famous for their music videos yet more deserving of attention for their recorded output. Well worth checking out.
Q: What's the contrast between playing at a huge festival like Lollapalooza and having your own concert?
A: There's a downside and an upside and they are both sort of, well, exactly the same thing. The downside is you don't really get to do the show that you dig your teeth into the most. Most people don't get to do their full production. Most people don't get to do sound checks. And the audience you're dealing with is, while huge, not necessarily a bunch of people that have come to see you. The upside is you get to play in front of so many people you wouldn't necessarily play for and the dynamics of huge crowds like that are totally different. The good festivals like Lolla have this like special magic attached to them because people are so excited to be there and their lineups are so good it's not like you're just thrown into a pot with a bunch of different musicians.
For some reason the page won't load (it's probably a problem with the computer I'm on). BUT just from what you said alone I'm jumping up and down! Sesame Street!!!

Here's an interview by Tim, wherein he speaks of the band's newest projects.
Sesame Street, on teaching primary colours. Anyone ready to die juz yet?
BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE.
Apparently they're also doing a vid for the Muppets cover, and the whole Muppet cast, Sam and all, shd be joining them.
I think now is a gd time to die. And it wouldn't even hurt. x
