omg ever since june 19 i have listened to nothing but ok go and have not gotten sick of it even though my parents and sister has but now since im going to the jonas brothers concert and snow patrol i have to listen to hot hot heat and the jonas brothers cd and some songs of snow patrol i feel like im betraying ok go i feel guilty have you ever felt like that
But I do remember that all I listened to for two months was OK Go once.
But I guess you won't get tired of a song if you're listening actively to it. I mean, like if it's just playing in the background while you do other stuff, you'll tire of it because it just gets imprinted there in your brain, like those sleeping tapes, you know?
all i do is listen to OK Go... ever since my friends and i saw them in April... i agree with you allthe... when i listen to other people that AREN'T ok go... i feel like i'm betraying them.
i've been listening to michael buble a lot. along w/ matt nathanson. but ok go mostly. haha
yeah my sister is taking me to see snow patrol bc she wants me to listen to something besides ok go and snow patrol is my third favorite band and shes hoping that once i see them they will become what i listen to most
oh that stinks can you borrow it from a friend or download it from itunes or are you like me and if you really like the cd you have to have the cd bc it acts like a collecters item
Goodness, I'm sorry I'm using this thread to complain about my sister.
Ugh. The other day, I helped her find her lost videos and she kept on not being thankful at all about it! Then, when I looked on her computer to fix something else wrong with it, just recently, I saw that on her desktop, she had a folder marked, "The videos that Courtney helped 'find' that I already recovered from my camera. What a big help SHe was." Oh God. She likes doing this sort of thing. (For example, I wrote a story about a town of losers, and when she claimed it was hers, I got angry, after which she renamed the file, 'Courtney thinks everything is hers and likes to take credit for other people's stories.') What in the world?!
And I asked our housekeeper why my sister is so mean. "That's really how it is when you're an older sibling." And I'm like, "What? So you're saying that just because I was born earlier, this girl can treat me like dirt without anyone even so much as reprimanding her?" It's not like I chose to be older. And I don't believe in this "older siblings" have to make sacrifices thing. Sure, it *may* be true, but that doesn't mean they should be treated as less of a person than those born later than them. It was a fact they couldn't control. And this is the reason my sister doesn't get in trouble for treating me like an animal? Because she's younger and I should just have to stomach it? "Younger" only applies when the kid is around 8 or something. She's 13 for goodness sake.
ugh i hate when my sister does that like ill be like hey mom remember when i did this and she will be like no that was me who did that and im like umm no you didnt, and then a couple years ago i got passed down te job of mowing the lawn (we own 10 acres) and i get paid $10 and shes like when i mowed i never got paid and im like umm yeah you did you got paid alot more than me and shes like w/e christy i think i would know, or the all time worst is when you find an old necklace you lost or somthing and shes like hey thats mine i totally bought that along time ago

i'm here to tell you, you are not alone
You know how I get around that?
I find out what OK Go like themselves - and listen to that
Then once I'm out of the groove of feeling guilty about listening to other stuff, I can listen to what I like.
Always come back to OK Go tho.
No, because they don't know.
But if they did, they would make fun of me.
Plus, I wanna know what it says in the little booklet thing!
