Also random: my friend is always going on about how the fucking arctic monkeys ate crumpets at her show. That just reminded me. Apparently when they returned for the encore the main fucking monkey said, "Oh I just 'ad a lovely bit o' crumpet!" I bet they were eating crumpets and drinking apple cider! Intriguing...
it's best if you make it yourself though... you heat up apple juice and throw a bunch of spices in it (i forget which ones, haha) and it's yummy.

I had these amazing snacks from Japan once. They were these little brown cubes and I have no idea what they were and they didn't taste like anything I had tried before but they were so good!
Well, there were two 18+ shows at the same club and I got in with no problem even though I was 15 because the place isn't that strict unless it's a 21+ show. The 21+ show that I went to was at a Hard Rock Cafe so it's not like they had actual security or anything, but Mike got my sister and I in. My friends hid in the bathroom and were able to get in as well, so technically we didn't really need his help.
I am very lucky when it comes to OK Go. I am also insane, determined, and have laid-back parents, so all of that combined equals a high show count.
Anyway, I've decided to keep a Dave Pimp Hat Watch. After watching a video of Interpol in Lisbon, I can confirm that Dave DID wear his hat on November 7.
Haha! Wow, you are way more badass than me. That's so awesome! They actually checked IDs at our venue though. The bouncer held it up to the light and moved it around to check the hologram. There's no way he didn't notice how horribly fake the birthdate was. I believe he saw it and is just the most amazing and generous bouncer in the world. One day I will track that man down and give him home made cookies and apple cider for being my hero

Kalinda, your Dave Pimp Hat Watch reminds me of my lunch table's "Mr. Trahan's Shirt-Wearing Pattern Chart." Trahan is an awesome history/psychology teacher, and he claims there is a pattern to what shirts he wears which days, but we haven't figured it out yet. We only recently started keeping a real chart, though. I hope we can figure out Dave's Hat-Wearing Pattern more quickly, haha.
