I honestly think that people should judge things for themselves rather than listen to someone who doesn't create their own art in favor of spending all their time judging other people's and getting paid to be an arsehole.
I agree with that. I learned a long time ago that I often disagree with what the critics say about, well, almost everything. I either ask my friends if they think I'd like a movie (for example) that they've already seen (because they actually know what I do and don't like), or I just depend on the movie trailer, and hope that it's pushing me the right way.
Oh, Kareh, I wasn't referring to your comment! I'm sorry if anything came off that way.
And I don't think the person who wrote that article disliked the song, either. I was just saying that they seemed overwhelmingly negative in general, as critics usually are.
I agree with DJRose about them... they act as if they have such sophisticated taste and that simple, sweet things are beneath them.
the Rapture's cheesy "Whoo! Alright, Yeah... Uh Huh" sort of makes me want to drink a Red Bull... in New York (or New Jersey).
Aww, I like The Rapture's remake of their own song! It's hilarious! But do they really expect fans to be singing along to these songs whenever they play them? Because I don't think that'd work for most of these songs.

Ooh, thank you for posting this!
Even two of the people who left comments seemed to like it

Chicago has a better song than us, but we are the better team! hahaha
