I found a new band called Vampire Weekend. the best thing about them is, they went to Columbia(NY)!!!!

    i love them. just saw them monday night - so fun. i can't wait for their full-length in january! "i stand corrected" is so beautiful.

  • i've been listening to their album a lot lately. i like them. i pretty sure i have their album illegally, haha. i'd like to see them live before i go back to school but i have to chek tour dates.

    Pre-purchase the CD at the Union Square location beginning
    at 10:30 pm on 1/28 to receive a wristband to attend the
    performance and signing. Space is limited so please arrive early.
    Customers who purchase the CD at the Union Square location will
    receive priority entrance.
    11:30 pm - performance
    12:00 midnight - autograph signing

    Friday February 1 @ Amoeba Music

    7:00 pm - performance

  • I might go to the San Francisco one, but that's only if I'm not on my way to the airport to fly to DC.

    I don't know if you guys know about this or not, but they did a Daytrotter (definitely one of my favorite sites ever) session a few months ago.

  • I just realized their new album just came out a couple of weeks ago! I must say, it's really quite good. I love VW's sound!

  • hehe, middle school is between elementary school and high school- my town's is grades 5-8, it's more common around here (NE) to have 6-8. Any of those middle grades where they're not really a little kid but not really a teenager either.

    and I wish my middle school english teachers were that cool haha
