Huge fucking paper to write this weekend and it's killing me!
I did see the first performance on SNL last night and it was adorable!
But then I went to sleep because I knew fucking daylight savings time was going to fuck me over.
I can't wait til this paper is over so I can check out all this videos!

ugh, yes. i hate that. i haven't got much hw to do though
oh, and i found all my pictures on flickr. there was like 2000. i'm sure i didn't make it past half of them...
ahh! i was so nervous the whole day...my body couldn't take their cuteness!!! i was totally freaking out. at the end of the show they were just hugging everyone, awwwww...it made me happy. oh! and then there was that pic they showed with their chins on their hands and then their elbows on their knees (if that makes any sense...) well it was super adorable.
i think i had some sort of vw dream but i can't remember it

It's during my fucking spring break but its fuckin sold out and too many people are bidding on ebay. I hate ebay.

aww, yeah, they sold out fast. i didn't buy them at first because i didn't have any money so i had to go on ebay. i got a pair for about $80...i think that's decent...but i guess considering that they were like $14 that's pretty high...
and I missed M79, which sucks cause I haven't heard that one as often.
but I found it on youtube, thankfully, even though apparently snl are control freaks about copyright enfringement?

and yeah, I completely found out about them AFTER they played Boston... and it was the MFA, too which would have been supercool.

Also, as of today, I've burned their CD 5 different people. I know it sounds bad but the band make hardly a skerrick off of album sales and I'm spreading the love at a more rapid pace than if these people had to go out and buy it (if they bought it at all.)

You're welcome! Your Tommy is going to be at SXSW? He's going to be here next week. I'm thinking about going, but I have no one to go with and it's at a place that I don't really know how to get to. If it was at a different venue, I wouldn't mind going by myself.

So today after school this pretentious indie snob kid was playing music in the art department, and he goes "let's put on everyone's favorite new band" and I was immediately like "VW!?!!?!", just in my head
and then it turned out he really did mean Vampire Weekend.
and I started singing along and he and his friend were really impressed that I knew who they were.
good story, right?
