You get an A for being so civically intuned, an A for with-it! (And an A for putting a 'yeah' at the end of your sentence, reminding me of the Mighty Boosh/British people)
Nadar is running under the party "none" so I guess we could say he's independent. The Green party has a female running. Can you give me her name, young lotus blossom?
The debate just ended- I think that was my favorite debate ever. It was HILARIOUS!!!!! McCain was like this dumpy, grumpy, creepy, awkward munchkin person. Everything he said kept making me laugh, and the audience wanted to laugh too: example- when the guy asked about what the bail-out bill does, McCain gave this long winded nonsense answer, and the guy was trying not to burst out laughing. Then Obama gave this pinpointed, "it starts with a freeze which means this, which results in that," and you could see the guy going "oooh!" in his head and nodding.
And when McCain went too close for comfort up to ppl's chairs! It was priceless!
And PS: Obama KICKED ASS in all his answers except one.
Re: Tom Brokaw. Did anyone see SNL's parody of the second debate? Twas hillarious. It's on nbc's website under SNL. I feel dirty posting it as I'm not a huge NBC watcher, and I haven't paid attention to SNL in years.
did you guys watch the obama prime time special tonight? it was... interesting. I'm not sure what I think about it.
Eh. Too much swelling music. But I don't think it was meant to appeal to those who are already going to vote for him. It's meant to appeal to suburbs and the swing states, and I honestly don't know the reaction (as I am a young, city-living, university student and firmly liberal [both social and economic], and therefore not part of the demographic to whom he was trying to appeal). Still, I think it was a pretty smart move given that it accentuated his main strength: levelheadedness.
If you haven't heard yet, Sarah Palin was pranked by two candanian dj's prentending to be President Sarkozy. This confirms her intelligence... So funny and cringe-worthy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X8kSoR22C64 And to think she has a communications degree
