i dont watch tv much anyways, esspeshally music tv

i tend to watch the music vids i want to online

you could put this down to mtv crapping up all the chanels

or the fact that im lazy

or i just dont really care about vidios to much

I like videos and music, they're awesome.

I hate Laguna Beach.

Since MTV doesn't play music videos anymore and they do play Laguna Beach, I hate MTV.

I do think it's a bit weird that they're playing on MTV, because as we all well know, Damian is not shy in his uber criticism of MTV during his concerts. That being said, I think they have toured so much and worked so hard they are probably just thrilled to be getting some attention...although I'm sure as musicians it kind of stinks to get your main attention from dancing and treadmill choreography rather than for your actual MUSIC. It's great for his sister, though, so that's good. I think it would be funny if the guys came out in slings or knee braces or whatever, 'cause you know they've been getting banged up practicing.

I'll be tuning in to watch the VMAs. Isn't Jessica Simpson hosting? Surely that will offer some humor.

Bah--about Damian & MTV, what's he gonna do, say, "No, I refuse your offer of an insane amount of exposure for my band"? .... Especially since OK Go's involvement gives him an opportunity to right some of the very wrong he's talked about; OK Go's appearance reduces MTV's level of suckitude.

Besides, he's complained about MTV as a humorous intro to the dance in concerts. It's not like he's been picketing the studios or lying awake at night fuming over their programming.

I don't think he's being hypocritical. He's not suddenly going around saying, "MTV rocks!!"

Btw, I can't believe they're doing the treadmill thing live. Are they out of their minds???

Yes, they probably are insane.

It makes me sad that the commercials I've seen for the VMA's don't mention OK Go... though I think I heard them mentioned on MTV news the other day.

I was told I think 3 days ago (maybe 4) that they were doing the treadmill dance and that Trish was taking a red eye that night to go practice with them until then. So, they'll be practicing non-stop for a week. Apparently they're all really excited about, but very nervous because even when they shot the video of the dance, they only got it perfect twice out of 15 takes. The VMA's are live, so it has to be perfect. I hope this week of practice pays off.

^^Mind you, she told me all of this while squealing frantically over the phone. I got the phone call about five hours after the "We're playing the VMA's!" announcement, and all I got was, "EEEEEOMGOMEOGMWOETUERIGJSAGUOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ONEONEONEONEOENE!!!!!"

btw, Karleigh, did sources say whether or not we're free to post about it on our site or what?

And yes, if someone doesn't put that on YouTube for me....I'm going to cry.
