I have a snowday today and that makes me really happy and gives me warm fuzzy feelings inside.

I think I'm going to make a snowman.

Oh goodness, I don't know if I could handle that.

If I ever get off my lazy ass, I will attempt that. It will look nothing like him and be just a normal snowman, most likely, but it's a feat worth striving for anyway.

I took a nap and woke up wondering [assuming I actually go out and build this fantasmorgic Tim snowman] how the hell am I going to make his kickass glasses?

I started thinking "TWIGS!!" then became distracted by lunch.

I wish I had a snow day. I hate first days back to school after any break. But I have about 20 more school weeks of school left so that made me feel a little better.

Most of the snow is melted here. So it looks really mucky.

But it reminds me of spring coming.

I'm already so excited for spring, is that bad? It's only January and I'm like "OH EM GEE! It's almost spring [kinda almost not reallt]!!!!11!" ...only I don't say "oh em gee."

We had a week of abnormally warm weather and it was kinda sad because the trees got all excited and started almost budding (they had those "pre-green" red buds). Then it snowed and the trees were like, "oh shit, guess not."

In January . . . . Michigan . . . . INSANE.

The creek by my house is rising from the melted snow.

It's been raining here way too much. The folks down in Santa Cruz are flooded, and our power keeps going out.
