I really want to go see them, too! haha, I've been watching nothing but VH1 Classic since I got home, so I've seen tons of adverts for it on TV. Mommy would probably go see them with me, too...
It was seriously. the. most. AMAZING. concert. I've ever been to. EVER.
It was batshit INSANE and TOTALLY AMAZING. I'm not kidding. I've never danced so hard in my life. I haven't even danced that hard under the influence of one Damian Kulash, and that's saying a LOT.

I've been wanting to go since I started listening to them last year. However, every time they come back to NYC, they're either 1) sold out, 2) 21+ shows, or 3) at a really innoportune time. I WILL SEE THEM eventually. I'm determined. I've heard that the shows are amazing and ridiculous (and you confirmed that). Plus, I just adore their music to a rather unhealthy extent.
Did you miss the 6/9 show for 1, 2, or 3? 'Cause it was in NYC...also, I didn't know you lived near NYC....

In that case, 1. My cousin (who lives in the city and has talked to Eugene since she can speak Ukrainian/Russian) let me know 1.5 weeks before and since they're slgihtly more popular now than when I first heard of them, I assumed I was ahead of the game. I was silly and wrong. I was planning on boxofficing it to see if they had extra room the day of, but something else distracted me that day (I forget wat. Possibly amazing thriftshopping that invovled an elephant skull and an old man named Noel).
Ahhh, you're so lucky. Gogol is one of my favorite bands, no joke. They have so much energy and completely charged music. I'm glad to heard you had a good time.
And yes, I do live near NYC. I'm about an hour away by train or car, depending on rush hour/traffic in general.
