All of these are really tentative, though. Like, it really depends on a lot of stuff and whether or not I have the dollars to get to these places and/or buy tickets. Oh, and Harry and the Potters are playing downtown tonight, and I have yet to decide if I'm going...
If I were you, I'd do to OK Go and Bloc Party, the rest I've never heard of.
Errr, I would, except now my parents are being REALLY MEAN and saying I can't go (even though I'm like, 20, and fully capable of driving to visit Carin by myself...) because I fly to Hawai'i two days after.

The New Pornographers are actually playing in Paris the day I'm supposed to arrive, and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, the day after that. I'm really tempted just to forge my way through the city to see them.
Edit: I just realised that I wrote "flying to Hawai'i two days BEFORE," instead of "two days AFTER." *facepalm*

2. i saw anathallo open for the format and they were amazing. they aren't your typical band, but everyone in the audience was blown away by their set

-From the Peg festival featureing "The Wakeing eyes" and "the weakerthans" from July 28th-30th (Harbourfront centre)
-Indie Unlimited featuring the bell orchestra Aug 25-27th (harbourfront centre, again!)
you can see that im milking the free-ness going on at the harbourfront, but these festival thingies actually seem fun.
also maybe beachfest if i it dont suck bones, but thats probably it for the summer.
and im holding a vigil on June 14, an acount of me having to miss the Bright eyes concert at massy Hall...

They have a new remix up too "ceolakanth is android" originally by the polysics... this awesometastic Japanese electro punk band.
They've done remixes for Metric, and Buck 65, and lots of other bands... I love the song "Paris" thats up on thier myspace...
and to fel... I don't think we'll be able to see MSTRKRFT at the Beats festival... thier set starts at 12:30... am! sooo its pretty late...

to 2: if i see them before you get a chance to i'll give you my rating of thier goodness... i just wanna see them to rack up some "scene points", other than that im preety much going to that indie thingi to check out bands i haven't heard of before.... also Yodie is forcing me
