    YES!!! haha. My aunt works on Broadway so she has a bunch of famous connections, but as for me....I've only met guys in bands. Oh and once Lenny Kravitz walked like a foot away from me when I was in NYC.

    Does she happen to know anybody from the Wooster group? Willem Dafoe is actually in their production of Emporer Jones off-Broadway (I think in Brooklyn...?) right now. My costume design class went to go see it, but I had to miss it because I had class that day.

    Speaking of French, I finished my paper! Yay! It sucks, but it's done! But now I have to do a costume project for tomorrow, and I have no idea what I'm supposed to do...


    All right, well, back on topic: I've probably listed a bunch of the gigs I'm going to/are going to be around here, but let me put them in a list.

    April 14th (FRIDAY!) - Franz and Death Cab, NYC wub.gif
    April 20th- The Bravery at MoHo (I really REALLY want to go to this show, but I don't think I'm going to make it because I have rehearsal for a show that night that I can't miss. sad.gif )
    April 25th- Black Eyed Pease at UMass (Another show that I'd love to go to, but don't think I can, because I really can't afford to go to two concerts in two days, and OK Go wins out. Also, tix are kinda expensive and the Pussycat Dolls are opening, so I'll be glad to miss that.)
    April 26th- OK Go!!!!!! (Also, the guys are playing at Rutgers U. in Jersey two days after that, but I can't get home to see the show. sad.gif So I'm sending a bunch of my Rutgers friends out to see them instead.)
    April 29th- Guster at Amherst. May or may not go.
    May 18th- OK Go in Boston- MAYBE. This is assuming that I DON'T go to Hawai'i, which I probably will.
    May 26th- Scamper in Cambridge, MA. For which I am getting myself on the guestlist, because they love me. Booya.

    Ummm, so I just found out that Franz is doing a "secret" afternoon show at the Hammerstein tomorrow. Woooot! I have to get a wristband at the Virgin Records store down in the Village, which actually I can actually do tonight because I'm going to be in NY on the way home anyway. I'll just have to take the A, C, or E downtown and take the B or D over and walk up a block or two.

    I'm not so much enjoying the idea of wandering through NYC by myself at 9 pm, though. I'll see what my parents think. I was thinking of going into the city early tomorrow anyway.

    But this is awesome. I really hope I can go. happy.gif

    Actually, at this point, it would be 11 pm. I could still do it. I don't know if I'd really want to.

    I think my brother are going to call the store early tomorrow to see if there are tix left, and head in early if they are. I was going to spend the day in the city anyway, so this works out.

    I'm going to see my friends band on the 24th and then Captain on the 25th and then Bright Space on the 27th, possibly Kaiser Cheifs on the 28th. I'm gonna be super busy and I can't wait biggrin.gif

    Hee hee. We're trying to figure out how/when we need to get into the city tomorrow, and right now, the NJ transit site isn't working and it's PISSING ME OFF. Augh.

    Nope I signed up for this street team agency (OK Go are infact on it now) like 4 years ago. I just joined up for the 'indie' bands that they were promoting. And the start of this year basically they finally gave me a gig to go to (you basically just get people to sign up to the mailing list) and then randomly rang me up when somebody had obviously pulled out last minute. And the band we worked for, basically said they wanted us to work for them at all the shows we could get to!! There is occassional merch selling but it depends on the venue. But its fun and its means free gigs when the bands are touring. And what's even better is The Bright Space supported OKGo so I so could've got in for free. But I bought my tickets the day they were released so there seemed no point haha smile.gif
