most of these toronto festival things sell out pretty fast. Im not sure that they'd have a lot of tickets at the door. But that free outdoor thing sounds good, maybe we'll make it out.

its in san diego - some radio station or something is hosting it i think?! one of my friends was supposed to be planning it and whatnot, but yeah unfortunately i think that all fell through
but i think if you go to interpol's myspace its listed there.. its on June 10th.
no one is playing in socal during all of summer blaaah.

but im def going to check out the free indie music market at young and dundas square, heres the link http://www.nxne.com/page.cfm/Indie-Music-Market for the bands preforming and the bands you can meet and that will have stalls set up. I hear that this is a great place to get some free swag. Last year Spiral beach prefromed,

1. the first band playing are 7 and 8 year olds..
2. Sebastien Grainger et Les Montagnes will have a stall! woot mel, i know your heart is melting!

the venues for both are literally metres apart and what sucks more is there's no guaruntee i'll get into ok go whereas AM is all ages AND i have the password for the presale, so i might even get tickets... but i already have ok go tickets. i also promised my friend i'd see AM with her and now she has no one to go with

okgo put on a far greater show then the Arctics anyways..but on the other hand get tickets for Arctics if its only just to sell them off latter due to getting into okgo

thanks for the advice!! i dont think i'll buy tickets to arctic monkeys but it's extremely comforting to know ok go shows are better.
i shall tell this to my friend who is seeing the arctic mokeys with her cousin instead of ok go with me.

erm.... other than that, I don't know. Muse is playing w/ Cold War Kids in August, but I'd have to find someone to go with me. plus it's an arena show. so it's iffy.

Best damn live show I've ever been to was the Gogol show in NYC last summer. It was fucking crazy.
I don't even know if they were age-restricted or not, I'm just mad that I didn't know about them sooner and that this was my worst week of school ever in the history of ever and I didn't sleep all week nevermind have time to do anything remotely fun...
I can't wait for summer. like, seriously cannot wait. today was my last week of classes, then next week is finals, and then I'm done w/ junior year forever. and it's summer, which means time & friends & hopefully shows.
ahhh finally my husband paolo is touring north america, and co-headlining with amy winehouse and has two shows in LA in september! ah so exciting i must get tickets to this!!
Hahaha my mom is coming too because she loves them. however, she's standing up above since Irving Plaza has two levels. I now just need someone to go with so I don't die on the floor.
I unfortunately think I'm going to have to miss the They Might be Giants free show in CT because I'm going on a road trip with my boyfriend and one of his close friends to North Carolina and, though I love They Might be Giants, I love road trips more... especially since this one is bound to be insane.
