    the last gig i went to was a summer fest here named Alive! and i got to see pearl jam, the used, linkin park, the rakes, the sounds and so much more!! Pearl jam ROCKED! The next day were the white stripes but i couldn't come... sad.gif
    Oh and maximo park are comming to! Has any of you been to one of their gigs?I need opinions...

    crossing my fingers... I might be seeing Modest Mouse twice in two days... the 17th and the 18th of August.
    If it all works out, I get to visit Northhampton too!

    I'm excited... and I'll probably be seeing them at least once, if not both days.

    If you ever have the opportunity, please see Gogol Bordello live. It's sweaty and pushy and loud, but that's why it's wonderful.

    (I don't know how good the sound quality is because i have no sound at work, but the people jumping and the sheer insanity should give some sort of idea what it's like)

    It was impossible not to fling oneself around with the crowd. It was addictive and impossible to resist, sweating, shouting, rioting.

    saw the holloways a few weeks back which was wicked - if you havent heard of them, definately check them out.
    and i saw james morrison last weekend - he was AMAZING.

    aaaand i'm seeing john mayer in september! had a total fit when i heard he was coming to london lol. ridiculously excited, really..

    im seeing interpol october 23 and paolo nutini (w/ amy winehouse) sept. 19

    i might see tokyo police club october 24 and arctic monkeys sept. 25...im hoping i have enough funds to pay for the tickets!

    haha aw you gotta stay for her! it's annoying, my favourite artists always team up together lately and i can never go to the shows lol - like OK Go with the fray, or john mayer with james morrison and ben folds, and now paolo with amy w! theyre teasing me!

    I love checking out what's coming to Montreal.

    Le National has Animal Collective in september, Spoon on Oct. 16 along with The New Pornographers barely a week later on the 22nd (the latter of all I DEFINITELY need to see).

    I love the Montreal music scene so much.

    If I buy tickets to the Download Festival today, they'll only cost $10 each. Cause Ticketmaster/Live Nation are being cool for once.
    And I'd get to see Modest Mouse, Apollo Sunshine, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and others.
    and it might actually work out this time.

    i've finally got a good lineup of gigs!

    july 28th: pinback, opening band: the little ones.

    july 29th: rooney.

    september 10th: lily allen (not sure on this one yet)

    september 19th: paolo nutini & amy winehouse.

    november 8th: maroon five, featuring the hives, and opening band phantom planet.

    november 10th: stars (still tentative, but i hope it works out).

    yaaay i'm broke now!! haha but its allll good, i support musicians and the goodness they bring to the world! smile.gif

    I would totally see Maroon 5 if they still had the foxy drummer.

    I'm not really a fan of Maroon 5 at all, but I would KILL to see The Hives live. They're known for putting on a pretty bad-ass show (albeit short).

    Yeah, my friend really wants me to go with her, and The Hives are the only reason I'm considering it. I didn't know they were bringing Phantom Planet too, hopefully they stick around for most of the dates.

    I always got Phantom Planet and the Phenomenauts confused, which doesn't make any sense because they're nothing alike... but I do love the Phenomenauts (who doesn't love a space-themed band?)

    ooooh but the Hives.

    That seems like a weird mix though, unless I'm missing something. Phantom Planet, Maroon 5.... and the Hives.
