OH MY! That was toooooo rad, even too rad for words.

I kind of wanted them to fall, just to see what they would have done... and how they would have played it off, but When they finished it fall free I was soooooo happy for them. They were so excited when it was over. Very fricken amazing.

Thanks for putting the pre-show online, I can't watch the performance for some reason but luckily I saw it live. The boys singlehandedly made that show worth watching and I hope MTV rewards them big time for doing such an awesome job.

I have never even heard of AFI before today so I have no opinions of them (although the trend of dressing like they do drives me up the fucking wall). If you want to send me some of their stuff I'm open to listening to them.

Frankly, I don't seem to know the majority of the artists people talk about here. Fuck, I wouldn't even know who MCR was if my little sister wasn't obsessed with them. I don't listen to the radio or watch music television so I only find out about artists through word of mouth (That being how I found out about OK Go, after all).

I understand your frustrations with people judging bands without actually knowing much of their stuff Story of my life, as a Hanson fan after all. It's been 10 years since Mmmbop and I still get "Mmmbop zappa dabpa adfgjhafg wop dop" sung at me every time I say I'm a fan.

well, I already said that their music is damn catchy and I don't really mind it. I just think Davey Havok is annoying. especially w/ the hair and all.
and Avenged Sevenfold isn't new either, they've been around for 8 years they said, and I like them just as much as I do AFI. I think AFI might be more talented musically, but Avenged SEvenfold is still decent, imo. I heard their drummer is the third fastest drummer ever. pretty cool.

andI'm still amazed by Ok Go's performance. However, I couldn't find it on overdrive anymore, but I haven't checked in a while.

Rusty is the fucking cutest thing ever. He was so bouncy near the end (before the crawling part). Oh Rusty, you never let me down.

Dan's show fiasco was wonderful too.

Now I'm just afraid I'll never be able to go to another show and be near the stage. Goddamn, during my last show, I sat ON the stage (far over to Tim's side, not in front of the action. I'm not THAT rude). I'm proud, but fuck, this is going to dampen future concerts.

lol I'm actually considering saving up to go to America after I graduate from University in June next year, but knowing my luck the guys would be in the studio or something or taking a break from touring when I went



I waited 8 years before I saw my all-time favourite band (Hanson). EIGHT YEARS.

So I'm not stranger to waiting for my beloved bands to tour Australia. Sigh.

Hehe I'm going to America to see the guys (well, no to see Karleigh, but the tour just happened to coincide) but then I have seen them before. Quite a lot actually. I'm sure they'll get to Oz one day!

i dunno...i think the guys will always try to be accessible to fans.

i mean, if they ever do get so big that they're playing in HUGE stadium-size concerts, i know that it's unfeasible (infeasible?) for them to take pictures and stuff with all their fans...but because they've always been so good about doing so in the past, i doubt they'll stop just because they've become big.

and yeah...like God said, at least you can enjoy the memories of meeting them. Haha, i love looking back at my pictures with them bc i look like SUCH a dork....haha, but i still love the photos.

yeah. well, the problem is that I still haven't met them (or seen them live, for that matter), but you're probably right. as long as they keep to the clubs, I think I'll be okay.
