What's wrong with Ontario? (Sorry, my knowledge of Canada is so small, it's almost non-existant)
The parliament of Canada is in Ottawa, Ontario (as in, the Prime Minister who runs the country) and since people don't often like him, we get blamed as a whole. AND we have everything. Literally. Toronto, the biggest city in the country, plus the capital of the entire country - both in Ontario. So the rest of the country thinks we're snobby and spoiled. Boo.

Ohh, now I get it.

uhm.. i think i might have an ulcer? fuck.
I've never fully known what an ulcer is, but either way, I wish you luck!
i hate it so far...1st hour i don't know anyone. 2nd hour was pretty good, actually. 3rd hour was strange..4 hour i didn't stand up and introduce myself and talk about my hobbies (a few other people didn't either) for points...so i'm probably behind in that class now. 5th hour was ridiculous. i don't like that teacher. 6th hour was boring.
i didn't eat lunch today because my locker is upstairs and i didn't want to fight my way through the mass of people just to get my fucking lunch. i wasn't hungry anyway...
then, during one of my passing periods, i went into the bathroom to look in the mirror and a bald, metally retarded person started splashing my arms with water.
after school ended, EVERY SINGLE bus was late. so i stood outside waiting with a bunch of other people for my bus. we stood there for at least 30 minutes if not more, waiting. plus, the bus stop is not as close to my house as my old bus stop, so it was a pretty long walk home.
did i mention it's 102 degrees out?
today was shitty.
oh, and i have a paper to write for history, a crossword puzzle for german, and a few algebra problems all for homework.
I never use my locker. I can't find the time. I hope I will be able to this year. And I always end up with no classes with anyone I know, so hopefully that will be different this year.
Don't worry- the first day of high school sucks for almost everyone. I absolutely hated it and couldn't believe I had 4 more years to endure. Same for my sisters and a friend of mine who is now a soph- I told her the same thing I'm gonna tell you: give it a month. You might hate it and hate it for a month, but then suddenly you'll get used to it and it won't be so bad.
Sally's right. My first day was pretty bad. I was so scared I was going to get lost, and it was just not a good day. It gets much better after time. I think my experience actually got better after only a week or so. You'll get used to it.
yeah my problem is sometimes not knowing people in my class ust put yourself out there and either try to get to know the person who doesnt know anybody either or make it easy for them to say somthing first ive met 5 new people in the past day
You guys are right. The first day of high school sucks for everyone. I almost missed mine because I was very close to missing the bus.
Just be grateful you can actually use lockers, Melissa. My school's five years old, and they've never let anyone use the lockers, so they're covered in dust and cobwebs. It's disgusting.
Ooh, you know what we should all do? Put our favorite OK Go pics on our binders or something so we'll have something to make us smile when things get crappy. I bet most of us do that already, actually.

oh im totally shy to sometimes i acually start shaking but like i sat down and this girl was like hey blah blah blah and then we started talking
See I have no problem talking to people if they talk to me, but I'm not one to start the talking. Hmm, I don't knwo it's just complicated. I plan on trying to change it this year. Hopefully it will work.

Ooh, my friend's bus was late, and she arrived to her first day of highschool a half hour late because of it. It's usually awkward walking into your first class, especially if you don't know anyone, but it was even worse for her, because everyone was just staring.
