Here's a great article on the making of the Rube Goldberg video (with photos from the set). This gives quite a bit of information so don't open the link if you'd rather wait for the video.
So, i am a new fan, lured in by the This Too Shall Pass video. I was aware of the other videos and thought they were cool but that was about it.
When the video hit, I opened FB and many of my friends had posted links with topics like "finally" and "we've hit the big time!" The thing is, I, and most of my FB friends, are HS band directors. Thank you for showing the band in a positive light, not making fun of them or playing up the Band Geek element. (not that there's anything wrong with being a band geek)
My band kids from Rockingham County NC love the video. They see themselves, and they see themselves rocking out.
Thanks
So, how about making the horn parts available? Think of the videos that could generate.
Okay, so I never post messages on band sites. But I just had to today.
Life was kicking my ass this week. Work and financial troubles I can handle, but when my 14-year-old son threatened suicide and had to be checked in to a mental hospital, that was too much. I put on a brave face for everyone, but inside I felt like I was at the end of my rope.
Then Adam Savage tweeted about this video. What the hell, I thought. I watched it.
I watched it again.
And again. And again. A few more times. Emailed the link to my wife. Looked up the lyrics. Watched it some more.
All told, I watched it over a dozen times today. Tears run down my cheeks by the end, every single time. "Uplifting" is an overused word for this kind of thing, but it's woefully inadequate to describe the effect of this song, this video.
Let it go, this too shall pass. You threw me a life preserver. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
Bob, I'm so glad the song was able to help you feel better, I know it's done the same for me. ::HUGS:: All the best to you and your family. Thanks for coming by.

So, umm, apparently the RG Machine is going to hurl Damian to his death?

I'm very interested to see what kind of "fun and games" will be up on the site. Perhaps the new boards?
I just can't wait to watch more teasers... ^^
Dear Damian, thank you for being a big time nerd lover. I am a nerd and now I feel loved.
Dami will interduce it, and then awnser questions right after, all through the magic of live stream
