the thing is...i am in love with the environmental science teacher
he looks 35. but he's really 47. and i will make out with him.

but tell me...is this bad? i don't find this creepy. the age difference is big but not noticeable in conversations. he is not some skeezy old man either, so don't judge. hahahaha

but the thing is...i dont have him AS a teacher, so its not like we're being bad people and messing up my grades
he's just a teacher... in my school... who i am close with
anddddd i'll be legal and out of the school in a year, so i guess thatll be fine *shrugs*
so it doesn't matter really.
Being in love with teachers/professors is part of life. You've got to keep it in perspective, though. Hook up with whomever you want to hook up with (well, once you're legal and he's out of danger of being arrested and such), but keep a realistic view of the relationship and where it's (probably not) going.

And there is a particular kind of student I have
responded to. I am not defending Don Juanism,
you know, sex for grades and so forth. But there
is a kind of student I've come across in my career
who was working through something that only
a professor could help her with. I'm talking about
a female student who, for one reason or another,
has unnaturally prolonged her virginity. Maybe
there's a strong father, maybe there's a religious
background. And if she loses that virginity with
a man who is not a teacher, she's going to marry
that man, boom. And I don't think the marriage
is going to be very good.
There have been times when this virginity
has been presented to me as something that 1, not
quite another man, half an authority figure, can
handle--a thing whose preciousness I realize.
I still don't know what to think about it.

We don't have very many hot professors here. At least none that I've noticed. Maybe I'll have to take a class at UMass sometime and find one...
