Once Dan wore a hat that reminded me of Newsies, and so my roommate and I burst into Newsies songs everytime we saw him all night. Then we told him he looked like a Newsie, and learned that he has never seen the greatest newsboy musical of our time. Sad, but true.

after the houston show, i was sitting on the stage waiting for my friend to finish vomitting up mexican food in the bathroom when i noticed that i was sitting next to dan. he told me a sad tale about how he started drumming after his parents split up, and his father bought him a drumset to get back at his mother. (yes, this was relevant to the conversation we were having.) he also gave me some wonderfully enlightening advice about college. mr. miyagi could not have said it any better.

I was lamenting on the fact that my real name has no K in it, so I don't like to use it. Because of this, Karleigh was kind enough to ordane a K upon me. My real name now has a silent K in it (Rose with a silent K in front). I like to be called any one of the following: Tempe, Roach Girl, Silent K, or Krose. I'm so happy to have a K so that I can fit in with all you guys. Many thanks to Karleigh!
