    OK, well, they don't actually saying they're more fantastic than everyone else 'cause they're now indie, but if you read between the lines, they think they're so much cooler now. I swear, I'm sick of listening to them prattle on about indie this, indie that, blah blah blah.

    Startgate hasn't had much love in Australia. I fell in love with it after I started watching it on the Old School cable channel (which plays Old School TV shows so the episodes are always ancient). Season 9 started playing on commercial TV a few weeks ago but the times are always changing so it's hard to keep up with, which is why I just stick to Box Sets. I haven't seen Seasons 7 & 8 so I'm excited to see them. Weeee.

    haha yeah DVD sets are much better. The show's gotten so crazy in seasons 9 and 10, I miss the good old simple days. I can't follow everything that's going on now cause I don't watch it regularly anymore. Though the new episode last week was hilarious--I hope you can see it soon.

    I don't really know anyone here that watches it either, but then again I don't know whether any of my friends even like sci-fi stuff like that. I watch with my mum so it's all good.

    Nightmare of You is amazing.


    I've basically been listening to their self-titled record nonstop since I put it on my iPod.

    It's probably one of my favourite records lyrics-wise; it's beautiful at times ("We're meant symetrically/Hand in hand we're strolling gorgeously/A soaring dove/I'm quite sure this is love"), bizarre at others ("I know I stole your coat/Thinking of this song I wrote"), and down-right scary at others ("As you slept away the day in my bedroom/I found a criminal use for a pillow/I love you terribly, I swear that this is true/But I just can't stop my hands from smothering you"), and often blatantly sexual ("I scoured your town/Completely aroused/And making love to your memory"), but it never fails to be upbeat, catchy, and poetic.

    "Thumbelina" freaks me out a bit, but all the other songs, I love.

    Also the vocalist tends to do these little squealy yells at times, but if you can handle "Dynamite" or "Lay Low," this is nothing, haha.

    lols I bought Season 7 and 8 today. I'm still angry about the fact the Season 9 box set doesn't match sets 1 through 8. WHINE.

    I'll probably end up downloading Season 10 off the internet lols 'cause I can't bear to sit around and wait for it to come on, you know?

    Although don't you find sometimes you don't get the jokes about TV shows and such because everything is different in america? My brother and I would be watching it and we'd be like errrr, thats a joke set-up, but I've got no idea why thats funny....

    And also, I'd never move. Well, I would, but further away from your time zone, not closer to.

    He was so hilarious, though. And my friend was buying me TLA and I <3 Huckabees as a latelatelate birthday present, so when we were walking out, I yelled 'YOU RUINED MY BIRTHDAY, MAC'S MILK GUY!' and then he screamed, 'YEAH?? WELL YOU'RE SOO NOT INVITED TO MY BIRTHDAY SO HAH!'
