So I just came back from being really sick, and I read all the hilarious things my Paolo buddies and I have written.

I love them. And everyone else on this board.

    Except Electra.

I adore Electra. Who wouldn't love the anti-Paolo?

I just saw this. And I adore you too Courtney, darling!! wub.gif

    Hurrah!

    Okay, I'm bored.
    Not because of you guys.
I'm always bored. I think in real life, I might say "I'm bored" almost as often as I use the word "I." Almost.

tempe... the episode of ANTM is on where they have to walk with the roach broaches on... made me think of you smile.gif

Aww, I've always wanted to see that ep too! How did the top model wanna-be's and Tyra react?

    I'm Miss American Dream
    eating a krispy kreme
    with gravy and burrito supreme
stuffed with candy left from Halloween!

  • I can't believe you've never seen it!!

Well, it was a part of their "challenge" so Tyra wasn't actually there, she just heard about it. Most of the girls just dealt with it, and were okay, one girl, Gina, FREAKED. OUT. She hated every single second of it and was crying and screaming and had to be pushed onto the runway. Another girl, Jade, who I hated, LOVED it. She even kissed roachie at the end... ew.

For some odd reason, I've only just started to watch ANTM. I've missed so much!

Ah, that roachie, he be da lady's man, much like his soon to be owner.

Still, I will not have skanks kissing roachie! It's bad for his image and sends him a bad message. He's a very easily influenced little arthropod
(He is an arthropod isn't he? Lol)

  • Did you know:

A dog was the first in space and a sheep, a duck and a rooster the first to fly in a hot air balloon.

The world's smallest dog is the Chihuahua, which means "tiny dog in the sky."

Sharks are immune to all known diseases.

On average, you speak almost 5,000 words a day - although almost 80% of speaking is self-talk (talking to yourself).

I learned that at fourth grade elementary school! A chihuahua named Laika... I remember I felt really bad cause the Soviet Union never brought her back; I had a chihuahua at the time named Tito (my first pet smile.gif )

It's very sad, you know, although sharks really have a bad reputation, they're in grave danger of extinction... who knows if maybe they hold the clue to the cure of cancer etc...

I thought it was five seconds...btw, howcome the guillotine went out of fashion? It seems to me that was more humane than the electric chair or the lethal injection (also, it's cheaper); I'm against the death penalty btw...

really? maybe I'm seriously mistaken (it's something I heard on tv a while ago and maybe I missheard), but I thought there was a chance obese people could be cured of type C diabetes if they drastically changed their lifestyle. Am I wrong?

Type C? Unless you have a different system of classing diabetes over there, there isn't a type C. There's type 1 diabetes and type 2 diabetes, and neither can be cured but type 2 can sometimes be controlled purely by diet. More often you have to take pills as well. And type 2 is often caused by obesity. Maybe that's what you're thinking of?
  • My dad has type 2 diabetes, and it's purely because of his lifestyle. He ate poorly and didn't take care of himself. He got the diabetes and shortly after had to have a quadruple bypass heart surgery. So... take care of yourselves people!

I've just had a chat with my dad (he's a doctor) about this... he says I'm completely mistaken and that maybe I was thinking about hepatitis. Sorry for that, it seems I was totally off in this one. rolleyes.gif

  • hahaha Alice, dude, you just unwittingly made me hear a lecture on how the pancreas works laugh.gif
  • haha he's fine, now. smile.gif this happened... the surgery that is, a little over 2 years ago. they were lucky they found out he had all the blockage in his heart b/c a day after his surgery he had a heart attack rolleyes.gif scary shit. but the day he was admitted into the hospital before they figured out what kind of surgery they were going to do, he had a mother effing quarter pounder from McDonald's. Healthy, right? He just has to really watch what he eats and exercise regularly, which is something he should have done long ago.

  • I feel sorry for that fmily with the 16 kids that's on TLC...now they have seventeen kids. But most of all, I pity the mother because it's like all she's there for is to pop out baby after baby.
