    I'm so happy right now. It's up SO loud... the Councilman's bass is making my floor shake... and my kazoo is hanging out of my mouth. I look like a hot mess already... and I am SO happy I got ser biz stickers... so I can make a picture, as well as slap it on my laptop w/ my OK Go stickers smile.gif

    and I got a Gents button. Life. Is. Good.

    HA! I ordered stickers too! And they gave me a few extra. I also got the Gents button and a Benji Cossa button.

    And Rachel, don't feel jealous. At least you got to see the Gents live. We have to settle for their CDs.

    That *is* true. I have been hugged and kissed (on the cheek) by Smilin' Andy Bean, and I can say from first hand experience that The Councilman gives KILLER hugs.

    May 3rd they're going to be back at Andy's in Chestertown. And I shall be there. biggrin.gif

    Don't be scared. Have confidence in the fact that you got the gig. You will be the most gorgeous person in the room and you should just accept that. Pretend you're just getting photographed by a friend while you're out and about. If there are any aggressive models who try to upstage you or make you feel bad, I can cause them tremendous dental pain for you. Or I'll put some nice curses on them.

    getting a call from some friends while they chase pigeons on Boston Common.
    even while I'm stuck at home visiting with my step-grandmother from Canada.

    re-discovering old obsessions and catching up on everything that's happened since I forgot about them

    finding out that my parents aren't as mad at me as I thought?
    a rare, but rather nice, discovery.
