Tonight I'm going to the second concert of the season of the national philharmonic ...WOOT! I have no idea what they'll be performing, but I missed the first concert two weeks ago, which ended up being Carmina Burana (damn), so I just bought the ticket and forgot to ask what it would be... oh my, oh my, I wonder what's in store for me...what a treat... I adore classical music!

blasting Crash the Party in the car on Valentine's Day is oddly satisfying.
as are those little-kid valentines that you used to give to everyone in your class. And even though they were all basically the same, you'd spend a lot of time picking out just the perfect one for your crush My friends still give those to each other.
I just got picked to do a photo shoot in which my picture may be displayed on general kiosks at shopping malls.
Needless to say when I opened the email I was ecstatic (money AND fame), but now I am frightfully nervous. So this is sort-of the "happybutscaredshitless" thread for me.
T.dog, when your famous, can I go with you to meet Tyra Banks?
you're gorgeous. You've got very photogenic bone structure and expressive eyes and if you didn't know me I bet I just sounded sort of creepy. I could go into the orthodontic proportions if that would help.
Don't be scared. Have confidence in the fact that you got the gig. You will be the most gorgeous person in the room and you should just accept that. Pretend you're just getting photographed by a friend while you're out and about. If there are any aggressive models who try to upstage you or make you feel bad, I can cause them tremendous dental pain for you. Or I'll put some nice curses on them.
There can be no introductions for such genius. So, without any further ado, George Harrison and Paul Simon singing "Homeward Bound:" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M3LJ28o2jj0
I could watch this on repeat forever.
P.S. I've completely inherited my love for Simon and Garfunkel from my Mom. She used to sit with me, listening to their music and just tell me how they were absolute perfection, how they sounded like one person, how moving and beautiful it was. And it's true. I'm lucky to have a mom like her, who gave me Simon and Garfunkel and Carol King and Janis Joplin and Joni Mitchell.
This song has been my favorite ever since I learned how to properly use my mom's record player so I could listen to it over and over: "For Emily, Whenever I May Find Her" What a perfect love song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zdc8qsTZ_Uw

That is fantastic! I'll be walking through the Christiana Mall and I'll see you Smiling down at me!

I can't believe I almost forgot about that! Haha, we're kickass
- late night excited conversations with Alice - AOL, and even more the mail I got last night... - my sister and her belly and the little baby inside, I'm gonna be aunt!!! - catching up with very good friends who are too far away to see and planning a "reunion"
Tdog, that is an amazing picture, you're really pretty!!!
- Late night conversations with Mayo - Going out for dinner with people who're going to New York on our trip, and the restaurant playing "New York, New York" - The fact that I'M GOING TO NEW YORK TOMORROW!! - The fact that I'm seeing Rachel in just 4 days!!!! - Mayo's happiness. And just Mayo in general.
-My sister finally got some good friends! I know that sounds mean, but her old friends were really bad, and they actually weren't her true friends anyways. She was kind of the tag along if you know what I mean. -Jonas Brothers on Saturdayyyy -No school tomorrow -Guitar Hero
I had seem some of his work at the Musee D'Art Contemporain last year (where he made this amazing tree/treehouse out of a complete bedroom set. However, he didn't saw anything apart.
Rather, he simply screwed it together a very specific way to make the tree. It was kind of amazing)
Now, he made some new movie where he and his family filmed a pseudo-soap opera in Ikea, without Ikea's permission. So, the whole thing keeps switching locations, has people messing with the camera, and meanwhile he's "teaching" his kids about private property (I think it's also meant to be a commentary on the Israeli-Palestinian/Arab-Israeli conflict). It looks absolutely fantastic.

HA! Hardly. I sent them this picture, thinking I could at least give them a good laugh around the water cooler:
The cap gives it away; I am definitely not supermodel material. *FACE!*

Tempe's definitely right about the photogenic bone structure - I'm envious of your cheekbones. You have to show us the pictures from the photoshoot!
