According to the box of PG Tips tea leaves my friend sent to me, England has had its greatest power surges during the half times of football games, 'cause everybody's making tea, apparently.

Mind you, my friend sent me this box of tea overseas merely wrapped in brown paper, so it was all squished when I got it.
    *is done being uninteresting*

Yeah, that's one of the more intersting things about "the beautiful game" - it's as interesting as watching baseball sober.

    In my opinion.

Something interesting about power surges: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/staffordshire/3457965.stm Almost, anyway.

That one's on the pavement! And they're rare these days, but yes public toilets. On the street.

It's better than crapping in the gutter...

    The Thornbirds: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0085101/plotsummary

    It sounds shit.
  • I've heard of those toilets before. It sounds like quite an event to use one.

"The story centers on their daughter, Meggie, and her love for the family's priest, Father Ralph de Bricassart. Meggie tries to forget Ralph by marrying dashing stockman Luke O'Neill, but she and Ralph are soon reunited, with tragic consequences for them both."

It sounds like it's full of melodrama.
  • In a rare case...

In some places (Leeds Bus Station springs to mind) it's most definitely an event to... savour... the smell will stick with you the most. Days in some cases.

haha. I used to be Meggy when i was little. but with a "y", no "ie". although I don't think I cared back then.

but yeah, its still weird to see my name places. And I really hope I don't fall in love for either a priest OR a dashing stockman...

I've looked everywhere for a dashing stockman, they're like gold dust!

They don't seem very trustworthy to me. and I don't like the idea of "dashing" in general.

I mean, I guess if I found the right one it'd be okay.

    I dunno.
  • Well there's none on eBay...

And a quick googling (sounds painful) brings up a load of Thornbirds related stuff. 180 to be precise. But 170 of them have been deemed irrelevant.

    Huh.
  • they are/were on amazon.co.uk

i own every okgo cd...im happy
  • I might need some US singles - but apart from that I'm in possession of a full house too.

    I think.

I mean, that means we can't post some good stuff:
    "Bye Bye Baby"
    "We Dug a Hole"
"It's Tough to Have a Crush..."
    "Antmusic"
    "Unrequited Orchestra"
    "Hello, My Treacherous..."
    "This Will Be Our Year"
    "The Lovecats"
    "Oh, Lately" acoustic
    "GOI" live
    "Invincible" live
    "Down For The Count"
    Yeah. *shrugs*

Why not "Unrequited Orchestra"? Was that a b-side to something?
I already put it up there ...

Nope, I've got 'em. The only other EP one you haven't mentioned is "What To Do." I'm pretty sure "Unrequited" is an unreleased one. I'm not sure where it originated ... I got it from the old songs acct. biggrin.gif

I've posted Jessie's Girl and Get Over It as two separate files and got rid of the adverts.

    Awesome. smile.gif Thanks!
