I told a friend about the Strokes news and I think I've made a new fan! He "doesn't listen to music" (which is scary and dumb) but nevertheless I decided he should know that the Strokes are recording soon Naturally, he didn't have a clue who they are, so later on I sent him "Someday" and his response is that they "sound good" and he'd love to hear more of their stuff!
The Strokes are saving people from music deprivation! Woo!!

The best part about someone who "doesn't listen to music" is that he has no existing opinions, whether they are prejudice or not, about the bands and music we talk about. I reckon it must be pretty awesome to just listen to the music without worrying about labels or the band's image etc

But then again, not having music must suck.

You know his hair is a major plot hole in the show. MAJOR. Remember when Sylar was cutting open poor Peter's head and you see a bit of his fringe fall to the ground? Well in the next episode there is NO chunk of hair missing, so we assume that his 'healing' thingy fixes his hair BUT now by some mysterious circumstance his hair doesn't grow back. ugh.
