It's interesting that we tend to choose so many of the same photos. In one of the banners Tabetha made, I had saved three of those four pics of Damian to my computer months ago.
I still haven't figured out how to copy and use any of these myself, but I haven't been trying very hard.

These are so cute! I love how you u*tilized the pictures I took at Cincinnati's Fountain Square and turned them into an adorable banner. Great job!

Tempe, I worked on making Roachie's green jewels all pweety, but they're too small. Well, I guess I could put 1 twinkle like the boys, but I thought you meant for all his jewels to shine. His jewels are just too small (I asked my genius photoshop friend, but she actually explained that was the reason it wasn't working)
So, could I make him bigger?
And I'm glad you liked them, Letty, Katie and Surreyesawake. And Sureeyesawake, aaa, Tim should so totally have his own show- they should've let him write the parts on Las Vegas!

I could blow it up, but making small images a lot bigger tends to make them pixelly unless you do a long thing that I'm not good at, so if it isn't any trouble, a bigger one of yours would be awesome. But if you don't, I don't wanna bug you (hehe, bug).
You went west? I always thought you were born in Arizona! Where are you from? (sorry, don't mean to be nosy, but wouldn't it be cool if you were actually my neighbor?)
Edit: sorry, forgot to answer your questions...The time depends on what it is... A combination animation and still image banner take me hours and hours, but I'm sure ppl good at this stuff take less. Backgrounds for still image banners take around 15-20 minutes, less if they're simple. Removing things from raw images take the longest- if it's a picture with a nice contrast, I can zip through it in like 2 or 3 minutes. But if it's a dark photograph with little contrast, it takes forever.
To be honest, I'm probly the worst one in my group of friends at photoshop graphics. I'm usually playing with coding and tend to rely on my friends for graphics. But, unfortunately, none of them are Ok Go fans.
(although, I have to add, I also have friends who far surpass me in coding)

And also, I totally admire you as a dental student. Medical school- that must be rough, and on top of that, you have such an intense specialty. You must study super hard- make sure you party all summer!
Hey now, who says the NJ story is the truth? Don't make me say "gauze," "dog," or "coffee." That's when my accent comes out. It's my accent that got me into dental school. The dean was immensely entertained by the way I said "coffee." Other than those 3 words though, I really don't have an accent. I can, however, shoot thorns out my nose since I was born of cactus.
